The pizza peel is NOT the one you use to slide the pizza in or pull the pizza out. An oven peel is used to lift one side of a pizza, rotating it slowly inside, then placing it back on the peel. I also dislike this unit because the handle is too short. When you're using a wood-fired stove, the handle is not enough to reach the bottom of the pan. With the heat of the fire, this oven can reach temperatures over 900F. A longer reach peel would have been nice. The cover appears to be very flimsy, and I am not sure how long it will last. As for the heat, I'm unsure this thing can handle it as I don't think it can handle high temperatures. Nevertheless, it was easy to assemble, as all of the An allen key type tool from the included set)is also When I realized there were no screws in the bag in which the allen wrench tool was enclosed, I felt like an idiot wondering where they were. Due to the fact that the screws have already been inserted, the handle has already been screwed in. Therefore, you have to unscrew the screws, attach the peel head, and then reinstall the screws Reassemble the handle by screwing the screws back in.
