5 out of 5!.
When I first saw it, I fell in love with it, but when I got it, I was so disappointed. I was certain it was my 9. Reusable straws with a diameter of 5 inches would work, but they don't. Only about 7 people can fit inside because the inside section is only about 7 feet tall. straws, 5 in.
It's pretty, but it's built to be crooked from the start. While the bottom was placed on a flat surface, I slowly turned it around, and it leaned one way then the other as it did so! br>br>Also, the horizontal lines at the bottom are actually threads, as if there's a missing part that's supposed to screw on the bottom - (20 second video uploaded)br>br> Possibly straightening it out! Someone inquired as to whether the glass was true cobalt blue or simply clear glass with a cobalt blue film coating. I'm not certain. The bottom is also blue when viewed from the bottom. A transparent base with color-changing pigments. Coated sides are usually a dead giveaway that a product has been slapped together to resemble fully colored glass. br>br>I'm glad I got mine for $17 used. This is not even close to being worth $24 new!.
If your daughter tells you that she wants to stop using plastic straws as a way to help the environment, you should buy reusable straws. Although this container is taller than our previous plastic container, it is still insufficient. I like how it's made of thick blue glass and silver. But, in order to fit our new silicone straws and still be able to cover them, I had to remove the lifter thing. Because some of our hard plastic straws don't fit, I'll have to purchase more silicone straws. Boo! Overall, it's a good investment, particularly if your family uses regular straws.
This was a gift from my husband, and I'm really pleased with it. I only allow myself one can of coke per day, so I'm a little zealous in my consumption. The glass is thick. ice to the top (rinsed to keep the coke bubbly) and a straw so I can drink the coke rather than the melted ice water Yeah. It's a full-fledged production, to be sure. But every time I reached for a straw, there was a chance I'd drop one or two on the floor. But, since then, I haven't lost a game! XD Who knew I needed something like this in my life, and it's a gorgeous cobalt color that's also translucent, which makes it even better.
Colors are stunning!.
I really like the deep blue color.
