Thank you for buying a product made in China.
Unless you're talking about tiny boba.
Inner diameter should be 8mm if I'm not mistaken. It's a little bigger than a typical fast food plastic straw. It's not quite as big as a thick milkshake would be. Smoothies made with water, juice, fruit, or vegetables work well. For a milkshake, it's probably not going to work out too well.

In the last month, I've broken two straws by simply setting my glass down. I didn't notice the straw had shattered at the bottom until I took another drink and swallowed glass shards the second time!.
I like the size; it's a little thicker than I expected, but that's fine for smoothies. Plus, it's one less thing I have to buy! They appear to be quite long-lasting as well! None of them were broken as I sat in my mailbox during the recent bitter Wisconsin freeze. I did, however, allow them to come to room temperature before cleaning or using them. The cleaning brush is a nice bonus, and the bristles are much better than the cheap ones that came with my steel straws. I didn't care for the taste of those, so I'm glad I finally tried glass! br>br>The individual wrapping gets a one-star rating. Is it sealed in plastic? Ugh. If you have to put something in the box, why not use paper or one of those thin corrugated-like papers? It would be nice if you could find something that was reusable or recyclable. But I'm going to keep them in my purse until they rip to store straws.
But these are quite large on the inside, and the glass is still thick enough that I'm not concerned about them breaking, at least under normal conditions. If you don't like larger straws, you might not like it, but I don't like boba straws and these are nice. First photo is with a marker for size comparison; second photo shows that it won't fit in the lid of my other cup.
No BPA! In a hot liquid, there will be no melting. This is what you need. Thank you so much. Just make sure they're not broken. Keep an eye on things. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> One of these had a minor chip in it. Although it did not cut me, I had to discard that one. Handle these with extreme caution.
This black stain will not go away. It resembles tar, doesn't it? br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. The seller replaced the item, and I was able to upgrade from a one-star rating to a five-star rating. The brush is attractive and has a non-scratching rubberized/plastic tip. br>Because it's a little wide, it won't fit in all cup/flask covers that have a straw hole. I use a solid straw when "stirring" my drink, but I do so with caution.
While I already had a good supply of straws, I'd lusted after glass straws for a long time. I finally got my hands on them. These did not let me down.
I dropped one on the counter and it was fine, but there were a few things I noticed right away: By the time it reaches my tongue, my smoothie has become much colder. I didn't think plastic could possibly lower the temperature, but drinking through glass straws makes it feel much cooler, which is a plus. Also, not teething the straw took some getting used to. I'm used to holding a plastic straw in my teeth, but that's not a good idea with these glass straws. I had broken my habit by the third use. Finally, they do not fit in all of the cups with holes in the lids. That was something I expected going in, so it came as no surprise. Overall, I'd order these again, and I'm planning on giving them as Christmas gifts this year, so I'm hoping none of my "green" friends or family are reading this.
The glass was flimsy, and the product was broken when it arrived. There was glass all over the place.
