Little sheath that is both light and strong
5/5

It appears to be well-made, durable, and light - It's a perfect fit for my SAK Hiker - I've been carrying this knife in my front pocket at work for the past eight years, and I'm glad to finally be able to put it on my belt - At work, I also have to carry a few keys for various lockers, which I keep on my SAK keychain - I'm relieved to learn that they fit perfectly next to it inside - I've discovered that adding a key loop to the key loop already on the SAK gives you a little more movement flexibility with the keys. Just in case anyone is trying to keep their keys on that dinky thing, here's a heads up! The top part of the sheath, where it is sewn to the belt loop, is a little rough and scratchy, and would be a pain if it were in contact with bare skin for an extended period of time - I wear my pants a little lower so that it rubs against my underwear, but it's not a problem for me - I barely notice I'm wearing it because it's so light and slim. Because the top flap of the Velcro is wider, it can be attached to a variety of positions depending on the size and thickness of your knife - That black shield they've put on them now instead of the red matches my knife like it was made for it, which is kind of cool - Time will tell how long it will last, but for the money, it's a good buy.

The Huntsman will love this size
5/5

I bought two Swiss Army Knives (Huntersman) for my cub scouts who needed a sturdy holder. After reading the reviews, I decided to give this one a try. As stated in previous reviews, the logo is not a color. Aside from that, the holders appear to be well-made and are the ideal size for the knives I bought. I'm including photos in the hopes of assisting others in making their decisions.

Craftsmanship of the highest order
5/5

Because of the velcro, I was hesitant to buy it at first. It is, however, very durable. There is no wiggle room for my Swiss Champ to pull on the velcro because the pouch fits him perfectly. I wear it in the back of my belt, not on the side, and the velcro flap has held up well during driving and getting in and out of the car. Before I bought this, I bought a leather pouch with a button closure. After the second day of wearing it, the pouch broke away from my belt during a non-strengthening walk, and someone behind me stopped me to hand me my Swiss Champ, which I hadn't realized had broken free from its belt strap. This pouch has a tight and sturdy nylon belt strap. Anyone would benefit from using this product.

FIX THIS! The SA knife I bought, the "Evolution," is 1 5/8" wide
3/5

I'd never be able to fit in the nylon belt carry pouch they recommended I get when I bought the Evolution SAK! I couldn't even use a slightly smaller knife! I've got a 5/8" wide pocket knife that fits perfectly! This is an internal failure involving sales, inventory, and systems! It's possible that fixing it will only be possible if enough people complain. Is Amazon experiencing an excessive number of refund/return issues? Amazon needs to implement a product compatibility management system that confirms the fit/suitability of products that are "suggested" or "often bought together," etc. This could be done prior to sales contacts by forming lists of products that work together/complement each other, or after sales by confirming that items clearly purchased to work together with other items will actually work with the other items! No one buying a 1 5/8" wide knife will ever want or buy a belt carrying pouch that barely holds a 5/8" wide knife! Amazon must have thousands of sales per month? /week? /day? that could use some TLC/management attention in order to reduce/eliminate these potentially costly issues recurring issues that could have been avoided.

It is well-built
5/5

This one replaced a 6-year-old no-name pouch that was used every day. This Victorinox pouch appears to be well-made. Both the belt loop and the pouch area were tight at first, but with use, they are loosening up. My Victorinox knife, for example, measures 1" wide by 3 1/2" long and fits comfortably inside the pouch.

Outstanding, long-lasting OEM pouch
5/5

This pouch was purchased several years ago for my Swiss Army "Ranger" model knife (which is worth looking into as an excellent everyday-carry knife). carry SAK) and another for my "Champion Plus" knife (which, in my opinion, is a much better option than the "Swiss Champ" because it comes with pliers; The SAK pliers are nearly useless for this purpose, and you'd be better off investing in a Leatherman). For the past three or four years, the Ranger has been on my belt, in this pouch, almost every day. (In case you were wondering, the Champion Plus is in an emergency preparedness kit. ) This pouch has held up admirably to daily use and abuse on adventures ranging from working beneath a car to crawling through thick bushes and branches in a harsh outdoor environment. Following a slew of real-life scenarios, I can vouch for the fact that this thing has survived unbelievably well in world "torture tests" that weren't really tests at all, but daily use where everything "counts" and you're "playing for keeps. " The stitching isn't fraying or unraveling, the velcro keeps the flap closed, the interior of the pouch isn't wearing away at rough contact points, and the belt loop, while clearly "broken in," isn't loose and isn't in danger of coming off. Furthermore, this item is a genuine Victorinox accessory. This is NOT an aftermarket or third-party product, and at ten dollars per pouch, I have more than received my money's worth. This pouch has a great price. You won't find a more suitable pouch for your everyday carry. plus- Swiss Army Knife of the right size, at the right time. Certainly not for such a sum of money.

It was a good product and a great seller, but it just didn't fit
4/5

This item does not appear to be a genuine Victorinox-branded item. While it has accurate height/width measurements, it does not expand any to hold my Victorinox Swiss Champion knife. While the width measure appears to fit, it does not have any depth to speak of, so it stretches the pouch too much to actually fit. I was satisfied with my experience because the seller responded positively to my request for a refund. I'd buy this knife again if I needed something smaller.
