If you're worried about it sliding around, I'm guessing it's to cover a small nail or something, but it's been in my RV knife drawer for a while and hasn't moved.
It's a single piece.
It isn't able to be slid into the drawer.
Hi, 1 - Which one do you think it is? One of them has the piece that separates the knives in her hands. The mat is designed to be used in drawers, not to be used to handle knives. 2 - Thank you for contacting us! It will hold up to 5 knives of any size.

This item is functional, but it lacks a ledge on which to rest knife handles. They will still fit on it, and the blades will be protected, but larger knives will not fit. The handles of my 8" and 6" chef's knives, as well as a few others, were too close together. It has five slots, but with the handles competing for space, it can only hold three or possibly four knives.
I considered a number of options for storing my knives and chose this one because it was the most compact, practical, and included the non-sharp edge. a feature that allows you to slip I put it in my drawer when I first got it because I didn't think I'd like it because of the size and style. Then I began to use it and fell in love with it. The nonslip future is fantastic, and it fits all of my knives in the same place, from my large CUTCO knives to my tiny cheap knives. This is a purchase you will not be sorry for. I haven't tried to clean it yet, so I can't say how easy it is to clean, but I'd probably just throw it in the dishwasher.
The paring knives had gotten themselves into a tangle. Our knives are now razor sharp thanks to Husband's hobby of sharpening knives. He didn't want them running around aimlessly, colliding with one another and nicking the blades. NO PROBLEM AT ALL. We have a large one for the large knives that runs vertically in the drawer; now, after trimming, this one runs horizontally in the extra space for the small knives. Perfection in every way. My husband is a fantastic person.
I have a total of five prep knives (four of which are kitchen knives). 75- santoku (number of puzzles): 6 25- santoku (number of puzzles): 6 00- knife for bread, 7 00- 1. a serrated slicer, and 2. a serrated slicer knife for paring). They fit perfectly in this knife holder, which has an empty slot between each knife; there is enough room for more knives, but I already have enough. With this knife holder, there is no wasted space, which I appreciate. It has no extra material that you don't need, so it sits low in a drawer and is narrow enough for even the tiniest of kitchen drawers. It's incredibly simple to clean and has proven to be durable. This knife holder has made my life so much easier!.
I wish I had found this one sooner; I have a magnetic bar for my knives, but I recently purchased a couple of delicate Japanese knives for $300 (which are well worth the money) and discovered a small chip in one of them - The bar turned out to be stainless steel, and putting the knives on it likely damaged it. Now that I'm using this one, I'll be able to put all of them in the dishwasher! There won't be any more chips! Surprisingly, this design is unique to this manufacturer; I guess they're clever.
I found this to be the only knife holder that would fit in my drawer ( I'm stuck with it because it's only 5") in length. It came in a bubble mailer with no additional bag and was folded over, causing the silicone to kink. It was also covered in a pink residue that required a lot of scrubbing to remove. I believe drainage holes are supposed to be on the bottom of the rack, but mine aren't all the way through (due to shoddy workmanship). br>br>It easily accommodates two large and two medium knives. It should hold five knives if at least two of them are medium or shorter in length. Longer knives will rest their heels on the silicone, which will likely result in grooves over time; however, it is compact and does not slide around.
I wanted a simple organizer that I could keep on top of the drying mat next to the sink for my three kitchen knives. This product is ideal. It's small and straightforward, and it accomplishes my goals. When I wash the knives, I toss them in there so they're easy to find when I'm cooking, while also keeping everyone safe and having a specific location for them. The packaging isn't great, as other reviewers have pointed out: My package arrived in a thick envelope. The item is simply packaged with a small cardboard tag attached to one of the ends, leaving room for dirt, marks, and other contaminants; however, given the low price point of around $8 and the fact that it was exactly what I needed, I was willing to overlook the lack of presentation.
Bachelorette with mini-fridge mini- The kitchen is grateful for the extra space. Knives of a larger size are allowed. I keep paring/steak knives stacked two at a time. It is profound and effective. It's also preferable for blades, especially ceramic blades, to be safely sequestered in their own slots rather than jostling around in a drawer. br>Every inch of space saved is beneficial, and this accomplishes this admirably.
