My husband is a huge Marvel fan and I got this for him and it turned out great!! I never had any problems with it sticking and I made amazing waffles with it. Our family used it once or twice The appliance was purchased in August, so exactly 3 months ago. Today it stopped working after only making a few waffles. As I was cooking my waffles today, I thought it was odd that they nearly burned because they appeared to be over heated in some way. I liked this for as long as it lasted, and I thought it was cool for the most part, but I won't be buying it again should it only last another three months. Despite the fact that it never got wet or damaged, it never got wet or damaged.

I bought it for my children so they could have a little fun with breakfast. The waffles were a big hit. A temperature control adjustment wasn't available on the machine, but that wasn't an issue for me. The cleaning was very easy and it is very simple to use. After about a dozen uses, however, there was a problem with the heating element, and it is now completely useless. Though it was a lot of fun, I cannot give it more than one star for its premature demise.

We gave a copy to our dad for Christmas this year and his kids were overjoyed) In our case, the recipe made exactly four waffles. We used it right away and got perfect results right away. There is just the right amount of space. Several reviewers commented that the waffles were huge, but I can only guess that they are comparing them to frozen waffles from a toaster. The size of these waffles is pretty standard for fresh Belgian waffles - The ones served at hotel breakfasts are usually somewhat smaller than those at home. Our waffle maker was preheated for a few minutes, then the butter was brushed on the bottom, and the batter was poured in the center and spread to the outer rings as instructed. I then lightly brushed the top of the lid with butter and closed it gently. It only took about 4 minutes or so for them to turn golden and perfect. The kids loved it! We didn't get to clean the plates, but we let them cool, wiped them down with a damp sponge, and then returned them to the refrigerator. As for the exterior, it looked clean as well. It remains to be seen whether it is durable, but as far as we know, it has worked well so far.

I bought this waffle maker for my kids and they love it. It's not unusual for them to request Captain America waffles. Others' waffle makers are breaking frequently, and I see many complaints about them. We have ours for a few months, and my boys are not gentle, but it is still going strong for us. In addition, the waffles come out amazing, for some reason I swear they are even better than those from Ours is the only recipe which spreads out and cooks so perfectly because we have mastered how much to fill (just a little bit over the inner circle of the shield) and it makes such a big difference. My husband and I love ours. If it burns out eventually, I will buy it again. There is no reason not to buy it.

I make waffles all the time, and this is a big disappointment. Waffles are my favorite food and I make them on a regular basis. I am also a big fan of Captain America, so I thought it was the perfect addition to The waffles are however burned before the batter in the middle of the waffle is cooked.
