Questions & Answers

Is it possible to have a non-sexual relationship? What is the difference between a Belgian and a regular waffle iron? Why are there only Belgian waffle irons on Amazon? What happened to regular waffle irons?

Look on eBay for a vintage waffle iron.

I noticed that many of the reviews mention the unit's plastic casing breaking. Does this affect the unit's operation, or can it still be used?

Mine fell apart after only a few uses (2-). a year's worth of waffles)- I was able to epoxy the pedestal the first time (after 3 years), but the unit could not be repaired the second time. The metal axle, which has broken, is held in place by a piece of plastic. I ordered the waffle maker with two waffles - It's likely that the single would last much longer. The double iron is a substantial piece of equipment - The plastic pedestal and internal parts were unable to support the weight.

What are the waffles' dimensions?

Is there a 220 volt power supply?

Nope. It's just a regular household 110 volt outlet, and I keep it right next to my toaster. This waffle maker is fantastic!

The construction is sturdy and the operation is simple
5/5

I bought this as a birthday present for my wife, and she adores it. Easy to use and clean, with a sturdy construction. br>br>OK, I'll be honest, I'm sick of waffles right now. Breakfast with buttermilk waffles? Yes, please. For lunch, how about some loaded potato waffles? Sure, why not? What about dinner of chicken and waffles? You can put your money on it. Dessert: cinnamon bun waffles à la mode, ungh, yeah. If it can be made into a waffle, she's done it, and this machine has never failed her; she's even made cod fritter waffles. Yeah. Cod. Fritter. Waffles. Take a moment to consider that. They reeked to high heaven, but they were absolutely delectable. I'm blaming it on this machine. br>br>I'm going to die eating waffles because it's so simple to use and so durable. Please help me. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> SHES BEGINNED TO MAKE SANDWICHES IN IT.

PRODUCT WITH A DEFECT
3/5

The plate and teflon coating melted and stuck to the waffle the first time it was used, emitting a foul odor.

I wouldn't buy an unreliable product because it's made by Cuisinart! On August 4, 2017, I bought this item
3/5

br>On the 19th of May, 2018, it stopped working. br>Out of a three-year warranty, there is a nine-month service period. br>Of course, I dialed the number right away because. Well, it's the mighty Cuisinart, which is known for its high quality and long lifespan. I was told it would ship out in a few days, so call back and ask for the tracking number so you can track it down. Because that happened on a Saturday, I returned on Thursday. No action yet, but I was told they'd contact the Cuisinart gods to expedite. br>Another week passed with no action, and I was told the same thing. Nothing has happened after three weeks. Then, on the 14th of June, a new one shows up. I didn't unpack and set up until Saturday evening, June 16th, in preparation for making waffles for Father's Day on June 17th. My boys and I will be eating waffles! br>I even went to the store and bought strawberries and whipped cream. The waffle iron is turned on and the power and ready lights are both lit. THERE IS NO HEAT IN THIS ROOM! It isn't going to heat up! br>What a letdown and a farce! br>It feels like I've been robbed, and there's no way to get some relief!.

It wasn't even a year before it was over
3/5

For the first few months, it produced excellent waffles. You can adjust the temperature to make them as crispy as you want, but we probably only use it once or twice a month, so it's not quite industrial. Then it broke (literally fell apart during use), and we're back to square one. less. The bearing and spring fell out when the plastic broke off at the back hinge where it connects to the base. I'm really disappointed because I expected it to last a long time for the price and brand name.

Said to be made in America and Made in China
3/5

I was disappointed because this was the first item that came up when I searched Amazon for "Waffle Makers Made in America. " We liked the product because we already had one, but we never looked into where it was made. Cuisinart products used to be "Made in America," but I'm guessing they aren't anymore. I'm not going to trust Amazon's "Made in America" returns any longer. BTW: These products are no longer made in the United States, according to the Cuisinart website. They must be aware that we're looking for "Made in America" as well, so they're concealing where their products are actually made. br>I'm let down!.

It was a pleasant surprise
5/5

Waffles to die for! It is necessary to obtain it. I was replacing a waffle maker that made flat waffles. This recipe was chosen because I desired thicker, fluffier waffles. I'm not sure why the first few waffles, or even the quality, were panned in the reviews. The first one turned out to be fantastic right away. I threw out the first because I had the impression that there might be some residue even after cleaning (this is just my opinion). However, the next 12 turned out to be even more beautiful and delicious. Sure, it's the first batch, but so far, my family loves it. br>br>Quality is also excellent. The flipping functioned as expected and was sturdy, and the drip pan was metal, which was useful. br>br>If you're looking for something similar to what I was looking for, I strongly advise you to purchase this.

For the money, this is a fantastic product
5/5

This waffle was made on 4 and it worked great on the first run. If you have a choice of five dial settings, you should most likely choose number five. I used the Krusteaz Belgium waffle mix, which I picked up for about $3 at Walmart, and it was done, but a little spongy the next time. 00 for a box of 28 oz sizebr>Next time, I'll fill the cup that comes with it all the way to the top, because I was a couple tablespoons short. br>Wish it had an on/off switch, but it works fine otherwise. With a wet paper towel, you can easily clean it.

the same outcome each time For the first waffle, I only use spray oil
5/5

I don't use anything that isn't a natural product. Just pure oil in a stick spray. There are no surprises in the waffles because they are always the same. The results vary depending on the settings and batters used, but they are all consistent for that setting and batter. I make muffins with an extra 1/2 cup milk and it turns out perfectly. I use the included 3/4 cup and have never had any batter spill out the side; however, I do wish it had an audible beep. I'm not a waffle fan, so I was surprised to find that even "crispy" waffles aren't quite as crisp as I had hoped. I place the toaster on the table, and anyone who wants their toast crispier goes ahead and puts it in. They are crispy and do not overcook or burn. This is a much better use for all of the waffles I've frozen. Remove one, press the frozen button, and then press the start button. Perfect. I only clean with paper towels. Yes, it takes some time to get used to, but it wipes off easily. In fact, moisture is the only thing that needs to be removed. I've never had uncooked batter, burned batter, or anything like that. Last but not least, it works great as long as you handle it gently. If the batter contains nuts or other items, close it slowly to allow the contents to settle. If you put too much pressure on plastic or thin metal, it will break.
