Yes, to a degree. There is a raised area in the middle of the ears, but it can be moated by pouring syrup around it. I hope this information is useful.
I'm not familiar with that recipe, but my kids and family enjoy this one: br>1 cup bisquickbr>1 cup buttermilkbr>1 eggbr>And I don't measure the oil (I use olive or avocado oil, but have also used canola oil)br>I'd guesstimate closer to a tablespoonbr>Hope your family enjoys this one, and we use 1/3 cup for dumping the batter in.
Yes, if you follow the waffle instructions on the package; the batter should be slightly thicker than pancake batter. I've never had a problem using pancake mix.
NO, you are not permitted to use it on a 220V circuit. This item is only suitable for 110 and 120 volts. If you can locate a convertor, however, you will have a great time with your family.

I have four different waffle irons, and this is by far the worst, with cheap and flimsy parts. It doesn't let you know when the iron is hot enough, or when the waffle is done. Come on, let's be honest. That is such a fundamental feature. It does make a really cute mucky shape that my son enjoys and is simple to make, so I give it three stars. I used to pay $4 per box for Mickey waffles at the supermarket, but now I can make a batch, freeze them, and toast them for my son before school. I just wish it was made to last, because who knows how long it will be before a screw comes loose.
We had pancakes at 2:00 p. m. because this arrived in the mail today. It appears to be low-end, with few features, but I'm not bothered by the lack of a'ready' light or a doneness dial. It's AWESOME in terms of how it cooks! In about 7 minutes, I was able to make three perfect adorable Mickey faces; each pancake takes about two minutes. They were fantastic to eat. I expected to be upset about this, but it has surpassed my expectations. As another reviewer stated, the entire iron becomes extremely hot, so I will not be allowing my children to assist, but overall, this is an excellent product for how well it cooks pancakes. br>br>Update 10 br>br> 2019: This is something we use on a regular basis, starting with 1-. For the past 11 months, I've been going to the gym four times a week. It continues to be fantastic. I intend to purchase a second so that I can prepare them more quickly for my expanding family. I really like how simple it is to use.
One of the originals, from 1996, belonged to me. It was such a high-quality waffle maker that it didn't need to be replaced for another 20 years. This new one is of poor quality. The aluminum was thin and had black marks all over it, so it wasn't very sturdy. The surface had a worn appearance. The scratched plastic base appeared to be of low quality. On the red light, there was a Mickey Mouse sticker that didn't even tell you if the waffle was done, and it wasn't even straight. It's a shame because my kids loved Mickey Mouse waffles, but I'm afraid this new manufacturer scrimped on quality to keep prices low. Purchase a higher-quality waffle maker as a favor to yourself. This is a complete waste of time.
I'd just like to say that it's so simple that I'm not sure why it's only getting four stars or less! Pancakes and waffles are simple to make, and my kids adore them! IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT TIME IT IS. Because you only have to wait 3 minutes or less for them to finish cooking, it's incredible! Thank you so much. Cleaning is simple; I let it cool and then wipe it down with a cloth. It's a piece of cake to maintain! Read the instructions for care; I've never had a problem; ) I hope this information was beneficial.
Disney DCM-Disney DCM-Disney DCM-Disney DCM-D One stainless steel version of the classic Mickey Waffle Maker. This device will live up to the title of this review if it makes Mickey pancakes "waffles" once a week. When Grandpa took Mickey out of the hot oven, my 3-year-old granddaughter had a fit. Make no mistake, this is a poorly constructed product. $30 for a Mickey waffle maker. 00, and the joy on her granddaughter's face is PRICELESS.
ps. Made with Krusteaz buttermilk pancake mix, preheated for 3 minutes, griddle sprayed with Pam nonstick spray, and cooked for 4 minutes.
However, there is no option to set the temperature. If it weren't for the fact that the Mickey waffle maker exists, it would be impossible. I love making waffles for my family and friends, and this waffle maker is super easy to use and clean while also producing waffles quickly. I returned the first one because I thought it was a product defect because the little Mickey didn't turn from blue to red to indicate completion, as I had seen in a friend's Mickey Waffle maker, which I swear was identical to mine, but then I got the second one and it did the same thing. I kept it because the details it produces are fantastic, and my friends and family adore it; however, I do wish it had a temperature gauge.
Two years ago, I bought this "waffle maker. " It only makes Mickey Pancakes, but it was fun for the family to try something new. "Dad's Mickey Mouse Waffles" has now failed the power indicator lights, but it still does not get hot, indicating that the element or thermostat has failed. Mickey Mouse Waffles are no longer available: Our previous waffle maker lasted 20 years; it's sad how things are designed to break down!.
The plates evenly distribute the batter from the face to the ears, resulting in a clean waffle maker. The little mouse at the bottom stays lit up red the entire time; it doesn't change color to indicate when it's ready, so I simply lift the lid and check. It cooks so quickly that there is no need to wait. I used a standard recipe that included water, egg, and oil. There was no batter that got stuck, and there was no mess to clean up. This is much easier than making Mouse pancakes, and the added features of the eyes and mouth add a lot more.
