They are made in China, the same way all rolls sold in the US are. (It is manufacturers who claim to offer products made in the US who use We also use everything we sell ourselves, and take steps to make sure that they are made to strict FDA guidelines and laboratory tested. Thank you for your inquiry, but no. Laboratory testing and FDA approval are two key pieces of evidence that a bag is commercial grade. Each item I sell fits this description and is a commercial grade product. As a family owned business, I only sell quality products that I operate and use myself.
When I was selling 4MIL bags, I would sell 2MIL bags and 3MIL Despite this, I have noticed that unless you own a very high quality sealer, like a VacMaster, that has an adjustable seal bar heating time, a 4MIL bag can easily lose its seal if moisture is drawn up into the sealing area. In stores, 3MIL bags are sold in large quantities and have extremely low puncture resistance. In contrast, 5MIL bags are more puncture resistant, but still can hold an excellent seal Please don't hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any other questions. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work with you, Lisa, and Vacuum Sealers Unlimited.

They do, but they need to be rolled into smaller rolls in order to be taken out of the foodsaver. It is correct that they are wide.

It's been an uphill battle for us to buy aftermarket bags after overpaying for name-brand bags. Bags used in these items have the upgraded "checkered" imprint, which slows liquids as they travel into the vacuum compartment and allows them to cross vacuums. Compared to some name brand bags, these bags are medium thick, and made out of a very durable polymer instead of the thicker style lining. Their flexible nature makes them easy to conform to food, but they hold up to the sealer bar well and form a good, From dried to cooked items, the freshness of everything we have tried has been outstanding. I've found the price to be excellent for the amount of bags per roll it's a lot cheaper than anything we find in our local stores. Time and time again, the bags have provided excellent seals without any issues. Here are a few tips for complainers (or those who are ignorant of basic thermodynamics of melting plastics) you might want to try before giving up Please read carefully
- Wet items (raw chicken, meat, etc. ) should be patted dry before the heat seal bar is used to prevent juices from cooling off. I. - Make your own ziplock bag for storing your food Wet items such as soup or gravy can be frozen, then removed from the freezer. I. - Make use of a quality napkin at the end of the bag to catch water dripping from the bag and prevent wet streams from I. - Be sure to remove enough bag from the sealer so that the food can be separated from it. Ensure that the vacuum is able to form without being obstructed by the food. I. - A seal might have a problem due to liquid or food getting caught in it, in which case you would back off about 1/2 inch I. - Your sealer should be allowed to cool down between sealings. From 10 to Over 15 bags straight there will be a problem It usually results in a loss of heat for the sealer when you temp the heat bar. I. - Make sure that your heat strip is clean frequently. These are the best bags we've used in the last decade. Nothing to be frightened of. It does not come with a yellow bow tie. A seal of approval is in sight.
Unfortunately, these do not work like they claim. Having read the reviews for these bags, I am convinced that the people who left positive reviews are on Vacuum Sealers Unlimited's payroll. It was a good purchase and we tried it. It is not possible to seal them. My vacuum sealer is a Food Saver brand and I have tried using "off brand" bags with mixed results in the past. I failed to vacuum seal one bag after another after attempting to vacuum seal other bags while sitting on the counter. Every single vacuum-sealed bag lost its vacuum as soon as it sat on the counter. Our attempts to seal them just didn't work. We tried over and over again.
I am as happy with these bags as the stock bags that came with my food saver FM2100 This vacuum sealer system is model number 27. As a result the bag has held up perfectly even several times at higher temperatures (165 degrees).
These are by far a more affordable choice than the name brand ones and now I am not concerned about not using them enough due to their price and quality differences. This is a highly recommended book.
Just do the math. I had been using branded rolls for my vacuum sealer up until last year. As a member of Amazon Prime with free shipping, I discovered these bags on Amazon, which I've started purchasing regularly. They are great for storing food for long periods of time and for sous vide The bags work just as well as the branded ones, I find no different in the quality of the material or the ability to hold It comes down to price. The difference in price can be as much as 65% lower than the price of the branded bags, depending on the size and quantity. There is only one downside to this method. In the machine, the rolls cannot fit into the roll holders and must be rolled off (half way) to another tube to be able to fit, but for the amount of savings this is not a significant problem. Please keep in mind that I am using the term "Branded" to refer to the most commonly used home vacuum sealing equipment and supplies which can also be found on Amazon.
The bags that were made from these rolls appeared to seal well at the time, but by the next day they would have obviously let a lot of air in. It did not seem to make any difference even when I applied double seals to both ends. Once I had gone through more than half of the first roll of film, I switched to the second to be safe. I concluded (erroneously) that the material wasn't the problem when both tests showed the same results. The vacuum sealer I was using over the past ten years has been a Food Saver machine. I figured that since this bag material was on appearance the same as the materials I had used before with reliable performance, there must be an issue with my machine. There was no longer an appliance parts supplier for the model, including Food Saver, so I had to order replacement seals online. As the cost of purchasing food increased, making frequent outings to purchase food became unwise After replacing the Food Saver on 19th, I bought a new one. It was really helpful to receive a new Food Saver, which I started using In spite of this, sealed bags made of this material In the end, I realized the issue was with the material and not the machine. When I used the Food Saver brand starter kit that came with the new machine, the sealed bags remained sealed and no air was allowed to leak through. It works well to vacuum seal and freeze or refrigerate fresh meat, poultry, and seafood, cheeses, and other fresh or cooked foods that can be compressed by forcing the air out. When cheese is kept fresh without air exposure, my cheese remains fresh for almost an indefinite period of time, and frozen meat remains fresh for three months or more As a consequence, I have the ability to watch for good sales prices and buy these foods at average prices as much as 50% cheaper than 'normal' prices. * I have been quite frustrated and disappointed with this failure, and have spent many fruitless hours trying to correct it.
There are no measurements of the size like with name brands, but they are much cheaper and work just as well. Every time I make my normal serving portion for freezing, I use a bag as a guide to cut it out. I love how well they work!.
These seem to be just as good as the FoodSaver models. Because the roll is so large, it does not fit the machine. And there is no place for them to write down content information. The way I did it was to save the core from a FoodSaver roll and then attach the Vacuum Sealer Unlimited to it. You would then have to rewind the film until it was completely full in the FoodSaver machine. There is no limit to the number of times I can do that.
