These bags are excellent. I am very satisfied with them. Depending on the size I want, I can cut them and seal them Having just recently purchased my first vacuum sealer, I am very pleased with it. Each bag came with its own bag, but the bags were pre-filled It is large. It is disappointing to me since I like to serve just one serving of something like pasta, and then I like to serve a family serving of the same thing. I love that I can cut these to length, so I can cut them long enough for spaghetti noodles without having to break them in half first. These are also handy for storing my pecans, almonds, and tons of other things that don't seem to last in the packaging. The only bags that have lost their seals are a couple I manufactured just a few weeks ago, and I think it was simply user error since I was new to the machine, and had trouble getting a good seal on the first couple. In conclusion, I definitely recommend these bags, and I also recommend getting a vacuum sealer if you don't already have one. These things could add a lot to any vacuum sealer.
They're always running out of them, and I can't seem to buy more. bought a few more rolls after finding this one at a good price. Besides being of top quality and good thickness, these remain sealed and do not leak once sealed. I am very pleased with the purchase of these bags, and there are no cons to be found.
As soon as they ran out, we tried to find a replacement. As soon as I started shopping around, I realized that bulk rolls of bags were the most economical. There aren't any complaints about these bags that I have come across. Their task is to cut, seal, and keep the foods as fresh as possible. In order to plan meals ahead of time, we now buy in bulk and separate out serving sizes. I think we would use the 8" rolls more than the 11", but I am sure that once we run out of the 8" rolls that we will switch to the 11".
Those bags are in strong quality and perform as well as those that came with the vacuum sealer. I was surprised at the quality of the labels that came with the product. It makes the food vacuum sealer more versatile to have the option of different widths.
Since I learned how to freeze perishables from my mother many years ago, I have been using aluminum foil to freeze beef, chicken, and various other foods. It is probably mostly because I am a set in my ways old fogey. A number of times, my lovely wife encouraged me to get a vacuum sealer and these bags after getting really tired of packaging everything up in foil and squeezing out every bit of air (just as my mama taught). One of the reason I was concerned was that certain kinds of things might not fit in the bags (such as the 4lb chuck roost in one picture and the Italian sausage I like to make in the other). The only thing I can say is I really like how this works! It's a deal for me. Having read all the instructions and watched several tutorials on Amazon, I proceeded to the next step. There's no need to use aluminum foil whenever possible because this is so much easier. There are never any leaks or burns from the freezing process or ripped That means I have to buy less foil now, and I'm glad about that.
Prior to this purchase, I had used the bags that had already been sealed on one side. In fact, I thought that was what I had purchased again, but it turned out it had this type that you had to cut to fit a s seal on The only thing I was worried about was messing it up and wasting some product. Be sure to cut a straight line for the first seal or it will be hard to line up correctly. I like that I can make the size I need rather than having to buy a one size fits The next time I buy, I'll definitely return.
We purchased bags previously at BJ's wholesale club because we prefer to stick with name brands, but they aren't the cheapest. My better judgement told me not to buy these from Amazon, but I overruled it. In all other respects, these bags are exactly the same, if not better than those from foodsaver. They are thick and work well with our vacuum sealer too. When I need more bags, I'll know where to get them so long as these ones are still available.
The vacuum sealer I have does not work with this. Therefore, I've now got to stick with them since I opened a roll to try them.
