Originally from Japan, this one is made in Korea.
My wish is that I can be of assistance. There is only one button on the rice cooker I ordered for 4 cups.
Cooking brown rice is easy now that I have discovered a method that does not require Adding one cup of water extra to the pot will make it perfect. This makes the cooking time longer and does the trick as well! A few examples I have to use brown rice only. I use 3 cups dry rice and 4 cups In this recipe, you should use 5 cups of water per 4 cups dry rice.
There is a Japanese component in it. Unlike other rice cookers, this one is superb. The US Navy sent us to Japan and we bought one of our own when we lived there. Twenty-four years has passed since that time.

Among my extended family, including those in Japan, much of my shopping is carried out by Tiger, and all of its products have lasted a long time. One of them was even the supposedly inferior China brand. The rice cooker model didn't perform as well as the original, but it did. However, when I bought this recent item (which is a Having made rice cooker) is very frustrating. As water leaks out of the top of the rice cooker when the rice is cooking, there is a sticky mess on the counter top and the rice cooker. I believe that the lid is not seated properly. Tiger has been a customer of mine for a long time, but I told everyone about the recent experience, and they are leery of purchasing more rice cookers from Tiger as a result. Our collective thoughts are that we will switch to another company for future purchases due to Tiger's refusal to respond to concerns from loyal customers.
I'm an Amazon/Tiger/shipper It appears that whoever did the return quality inspection did not do a good job. A clear sign that this rice cooker has been used is the following (see photos) Rice steam residue and scratches could be seen on the item. As a result, I have to travel a long distance to return an item that Amazon failed to inspect. I am hoping that the replacement will be a brand new item.
When I was researching, I read that people from China buy a Japanese-made jigsaw puzzle as one of the first things they do when visiting Japan The rice maker was made. There is certainly a reason for this. It was obvious when I pulled it out of the box that it was different. Compared to the previous version, this one is much better. Purchasing the stainless steel 5" has been a good experience for me. I bought a 5 cup mug, it's beautiful and it's plenty big enough for me. This one has a retractable cord! I love it! I have always made rice without seasonings before, but it has a much better flavor and a different texture, in a good way. It's almost as though the rice has more substance, and certainly more The taste of rice can be improved somehow, didn't you know? Trading up was definitely a good move.
I like the way it is You can fill and forget, and it will make better rice than any conventional method I have ever used. The construction of this piece is of good quality, as one family member has used it for years without problem. As per other reviewers' advice, I would adhere to their advice and only buy the models which begin with JNP as they are made in Japan and reported to have far fewer problems (based on their reviews) that their Chinese counterparts.
It was about 6 months into my program that I began having issues. A rice cooker that costs more than $500 does not deliver what you expect. My Asian heritage means I am familiar with rice cookers and am aware of the abnormal state of this appliance. I didn't worry too much about it since it only happened once in a while. A few times later it started overheating at the same time. All the rice would cook perfectly fine, but within an hour or two after it was done it overheated to the point where it was difficult to turn it off. The seller and the manufacturer were on Amazon -- I tried not to go through them. What's going on? At the very least, if the product is faulty, you should be able to contact the customer service. I'm so sorry! *Buy this item at all costs! It appears they do not stand by their product, and they actually try to tell me I used it incorrectly. In what way? It has been 40 years since I have used a rice cooker. I'm Asian. It has been 20 years since I last used a rice cooker. A year was not enough time for this. You can always rely on our product. It's a brand that nobody I know ever wants to buy An Asian will be able to explain rice cookers to you. I can tell you from experience Tiger rice cookers are overpriced pieces of junk!.
Compared to the expected arrival date, this is a day earlier. Everything was in perfect condition when it arrived. There's a bit of a difference between the size I remember and the actual size I chose. However, the size is still perfect for me since Then we added some jasmine rice, and it was just like home again after a few minutes. There is a 24-year-old tiger rice cooker in my mother's kitchen, so that goes for durability as well. It was a good purchase. I am very happy with it.
