Your answer is below, and the math is provided, too! 450 watts are used by the cooker per hour. A usage of 900 watts per day would be achieved by using the computer twice a day. If you use 900 watts per day for 30 days, you are using 27,000 watts per A 27,000 watt load equals 27 kWh at the current exchange rate. Five dollars is equal to 20 cents per kWh. An estimated $40 per month is spent on cooking. It is equal to 180 cups of rice or $200. The cost of cooking one cup of rice was only 0.3 cents. Please find the answer to your question below!

As I understand it, the cups are indeed equivalent to about 3/4 American cups. If I fill this to the 2 cup line, how much cooked rice do I receive?

The usual amount of rice I make is about 3 cups of wonderful sushi rice when I cook sushi rice with 1 1/2 cups of sushi rice, and I cook more brown rice with 1 cup and get 2 to 2 1/2 cups of cooked brown

This is a good buy
5/5

This is seriously worth the purchase. If you wanted perfect rice on your schedule, I would have written a review asking if you wanted that However, I soon realized that I would not do justice to this product by writing a review. The five batches of rice I have made with this (jasmine, sticky, and basmati) have consistently been better than what you'd expect to find in American restaurants. The price of this product should not deter you from buying it. You won't regret buying it. The truth is, there are a few models even better than this, but i find this to be very satisfactory. Neither a discount nor a coupon were attached to this product. There are three steps to making good rice buy a rice cleaner, buy a storage container for your rice and buy this rice.

Steel cut oats and rice are great with this product
5/5

The steel cut oats have been mentioned in other reviews. As such, I tried out my new 3 cup Zojirushi rice cooker for the first time by buying steel cut oats. There will never be a time when I eat rolled oats again. It's amazing how good this is! Using the rice cup as a measuring cup, I can measure A quarter cup of oats, half a cup of whole milk, and half a cup of The first thing I do in the morning is put it in the cooker. It is so simple, just an hour after I get here, I find a simply delicious breakfast! A better texture can be achieved by steel cut oats. Steel oats might be the answer if you've ever felt like at least one of those oatmeal options made you gag. A small single-serving cooker like this is the perfect size. You do not overcook it or make it The basmati rice I use is great for this. The Instant Pot produces less sticky results than baking in the oven. The IP rice is a step up from the usual rice, but I am fine with it. This is why I am really excited about the features of steel cut oats. On my counter, this Zojirushi is always present and I use it nearly A couple of times a day, sometimes more. The downside The size of this is surprising to me. For a family of one to three people, it is perfect. If you cook for a big dinner party or for more people, it might be better to get.

It disappointed me that the measuring lines were inaccurate
3/5

This model gives me a bit of a letdown. This was my first hesitation when I bought it as it is a Chinese model and not a Japanese one, so I looked to export markets. In the end, however, I chose to buy it because of the product's brand name. I used to have a Tiger rice cooker and ate rice a lot. My favorite aspect of the cooker is its size The arrangement is ideal for two people or one person. In my first attempt at making rice (short grain), it came out really soggy and mushy. In fact, the second time I used the cup provided and followed the line on the bowl and had the same result. Therefore, I am unsure of what the problem have learned to fill the bowl with water so that it will be lower (by a considerable distance) than the line on the outside of the I get the right consistency that way. Although it is frustrating to have to make these adjustments after so much money has been spent. In terms of the design, I really like what I see. The top just pops off very easily, but there is a little plastic piece hanging from the top. As I mentioned earlier, I am not satisfied with the quality since the item was not If I decide to replace it, I'll probably opt for a made in Japan model.

If you like Jasmine Rice, just be aware you can't cook it There is simply no way to cook jasmine rice on this thing
3/5

Despite the opinion of my SO, I splurged on a rice cooker from the brand that everyone loves instead of the brand she prefers. There is an Aroma rice cooker that is very inexpensive. My excitement was complete when I received my new rice cooker and promptly unpacked it to prepare it. Since it didn't have a Jasmine setting, I tried multiple combinations including long grain, standard white rice, and instructions I received by email from the manufacturer after my first four The same result was achieved in all of them Water is at the bottom of the pan when you're cooking clumpy, undercooked rice. You shouldn't use this method for rice only made from jasmine flowers!.

The Zojirushi Rice Cooker Is No Exception to the Rule that You Can't Go Wrong With Zojirushi Products! *br>May I please tell you that this is my third Zojirushi rice When I purchased my first rice cooker at the PX in 1998 it had a capacity of 10 cups
5/5

I had replaced it with a newer model because my old one finally gave up the ghost after about 19 years of hard work The #HCC This is a 10 cup 18XH! I can't think of another cooker like this. They have come a long way since these old days! Since I am so satisfied with it, I bought a third Zojirushi this month, a model #NS-I This is LGC. A 3-1 victory for the 05XB! In our Alfa SeeYa Motorhome 40 feet long, this little guy will be my home away from home. The rice has already been used to prepare about 20 cups of rice of different types and styles. A great product with ease of use, the bottom line is that it produces outstanding rice every time. There are so many Zojirushi appliances I have, all of which are still going strong, despite heavy use over the years! This is a great company with a great product, end-to-end, from top to bottom! It is NULL! As a Zojirushi customer both in the past and to the present, I am very happy with them! *V/R Kent *Br.

The rice cooker your mother used was not this one
5/5

A second one was purchased this past March for a daughter who is single. Happy to hear that! There is nothing better than this rice cooker. A lot of steel cut oats have been on my dinner table. That's how brown rice is meant to taste and look (so that's what it is meant to look and taste As well as cooking brown rice in my new Zojirushi, I made Gaba rice. I'm finding it hard to go back to regular white rice after that. The large rice cooker is no longer needed since my children are no longer living with me. In lieu of my larger cooker, which took up way too much counter space, I bought the 3 Cup Cooker and it has taken up a lot less space. You can do so much with this and it is so cute. The same way you cook rice, meat and veggies at the same time. The Gaba is just one of the devices I have been playing with, and I plan on exploring I recommend it to everyone because it's compact, easy to clean, promotes healthy eating, and it's versatile. I don't think this is the rice pot my mother used.
