This is seriously worth the purchase. If you wanted perfect rice on your schedule, I would have written a review asking if you wanted that However, I soon realized that I would not do justice to this product by writing a review. The five batches of rice I have made with this (jasmine, sticky, and basmati) have consistently been better than what you'd expect to find in American restaurants. The price of this product should not deter you from buying it. You won't regret buying it. The truth is, there are a few models even better than this, but i find this to be very satisfactory.
