The rice cooker was purchased as a replacement for my broken one. The fact that it is multifunctional and doubles as a rice cooker and hot pot is what I like about it. There is only one downside, which is that the pot does not detach from the warming mechanism so it is not easy to wash. Each time, you'll have to put a cover over the electrical connector, and it can only be hand-washed. It also appears easy to scratch off the nonstick coating so be careful when you use forks or knives.
