A little over eight months ago, we bought the Olde Midway Electric 18 Hot Dog 7 Roller Grill. We noticed that it was making a funny noise about 6 months later. We removed the covers and found that it was Once we had a pair of pliers by our side, the motor ceased to turn without direction. The only negative point I would make is cleaning it. Other reviews have complained about this issue. The grease is stuck on the rollers despite putting the vegetable oil on first, and no matter what I do they will not come off. I have also cooked 5 all beef hot dogs on it, and it is not sticky even though I put the vegetable oil on first. When I told a friend of mine to heat it up and put ice in a sock to clean this, it didn't work. The rollers are covered in grease, and I have no idea how to get it off. It's been a couple of days since I tried baking soda and white vinegar. No matter how much I wash it, it still looks dirty after one use, despite the directions providing little to no guidance in how to clean this machine. I am disappointed with the way it cleans up no matter how much I wash it.
