There is not much noise generated by the fan. However, very different sounds should be heard when the fan is running. It is not 100% smokeless, so don't expect that. For both units, I have two different brands, both of which produce a lot of smoke rather than smokeless air.
The grill plates have two holes on each end. The handles look like an englongated C. Insert the englongated end into one hole and the threaded end into the other and fasten the nut to the threaded end on the underside of the grill plate.
There is no splattering, but it is always dependent on the way you cook. I cook chicken and steaks on this weekly and have never experienced any problem.

Getting back to the grill, it works, it makes nice marks, it is easy to use and almost smokeless, and when I say almost, I do not mean a small amount I mean a priceless amount, as in I will be pleased to say it is almost smokeless! He was smokeless. I know because of
this*. While I removed the steaks, I turned off the fan and watched the grease smoke in seconds. It was then that I turned it back on and the grease stopped smoking. There was nothing left of it! Please follow the instructions! Some reviews say it does not work, but they forgot the key ingredient in the tray of the grill. It provides 2 cups of water, but you can add more to ensure the air comes in full contact with the water (the key to getting rid of the smoke).
On the first picture, you can see what we cooked on our indoor grill for the first time. Our lobster taste was a total surprise. We put no salt or spice on our lobster and all the flavors got absorbed into the lobster shell. As a result, we won't attempt to order any other grilled lobster dish at any seafood restaurant after this experience. Rib, meat, and vegetables cooked on this indoor grill are also excellent choices. Our favorite way to prepare shrimp with mushroom and vegetable on an indoor griddle is to roast them. At least three times per week, we use the indoor grill and griddle. There is no need to worry about overcooking or smoke because the temperature control and heat distribution are so well designed.

Great experience with the GoWise Indoor grill. I am very happy with my first meal made with it. The first time I used the grill, I decided to unpack the package at the last minute and was pleasantly surprised at how simple it was to assemble, setup and use. As the menu for dinner was Ahi steaks that were beautiful, expensive, and thick, I won't be able to eat them. As I got ready for the side dishes, I set up the unit on my counter top so I could monitor the progress of the large steaks as they cooked. It was a pleasure to grill the chicken breasts because they were perfect throughout with nice grill marks, and I grilled asparagus and it also came out well because it was Last but not least, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the area When not in use, the grill can be easily cleaned and stowed away in a compact place. The purchase was a good buy for me.
I have used it a few times and so far I am pleased with the results. I like the fact that it does not smoke, and I love how easy it is to clean up after use (much easier than my George Foreman).
A grill and griddle set this versatile is not hard to find. During cooking, it maintains a specific temperature more uniformly across the plate and can be heated quickly and evenly. Disassembly and cleaning of the grill plate and drip tray are extremely easy due to the way they can be removed from the heating elements. By using a fan inside the set, we can reduce the amount of smoke indoors while cooking. This set has been used to make Japanese pancakes and Okonomiyaki. It is definitely one of our favorites!.
All of my friends and family, or anyone who loves to barbecue, would enjoy this product.
Taking so long to cook was not my favorite. Moreover, clean up took an enormous amount of time. This is a big, ponderous thing.
