I have reached out to Amazon and Chefman regarding this matter, but the problem has not yet been resolved, and I am stuck with a chipped skillet that had been assembled by? This recipe has been removed from the instructions/recipe booklet. At the very least, I would like a guarantee that the chipping of the Teflon or whatever the black coating is is not going to release harmful chemicals etc. . Likewise, a replacement recipe and instruction manual would be appreciated.

The concept of this pot is really appealing to me. Our apartment is just the right size, easy to clean and store, and just right for the two of us There is, however, a very serious problem with the temperature regulator. The warm section bordering the bottom of the first temperature square (200 degrees) is where I've placed it. At the moment, it's boiling away when it should be barely simmering over there. There is a lot to like about this grill pot, especially its design and style. Small enough to serve as a dinner for two. The temperature would suddenly rise from zero to extremely high when I turned on the heater, so I must have received one with a defective thermostat. My mouth felt like it was full of oil as I was cooking. Set the simmer setting to low but could not get it to work. The cook could not leave the pot unattended while it was A return label was sent to me by customer service, and I shall return it.
