Yes, the knives can be washed in the dishwasher. This is a brand I've used for a long time. The serrated and smooth edge paring knives are in Dexter's possession. I've always preferred the serrated edge, but I decided to give the knives you're considering a try. All I can say is that I am not pleased with them; I've had them for about a year and they are already considerably duller than my older serrated knives, which are still sharp and cutting well. I hope this has been of assistance.
These knives are constructed of high-quality stainless steel. steel with a carbon content They rust, but because of the high carbon content, they have a much sharper edge than regular stainless steel. They'll need to be sharpened more frequently, but if sharpened on a regular basis, they'll be razor-sharp. All of my paring and carving knives are hand washed and dried quickly. My grandmother gave me a carving knife that is probably over a century old, and I have to steel wool it every now and then. However, due to the high carbon steel, the blade is extremely sharp.
hello, the blade is half an inch in length and rigid.
Peeling and slicing potatoes, celery, apples, peaches, and other fruits and vegetables are all done with these knives. My grown children each received a set from me, and we all love them. I use a Pampered Chef knife sharpener to keep them in tip-top shape, and they're the knives that everyone grabs first.

I was disappointed to receive a used set of knives rather than a brand new set. Water spots and chips were visible on the blades, indicating that they had been washed. I intend to return.
I'd be thrilled to receive these knives as a present! I bought these knives to replace a similar knife I bought from a restaurant supply store, and I knew I liked the way they felt in my hands. My husband, however, objected to the fact that they were a three-pack when I bought them. He claimed that we didn't require so many knives, but I was constantly washing the one I had to keep it clean. So, I had to go to the hospital for a procedure and was out of commission for a few days. My daughter claimed that my husband was always demonstrating how good the knives were to her. As a result, purchasing the three-pack was a wise decision. I keep a sharp, easy-to-manipulate and-hold knife on hand at all times; these knives are the best!.
This is an excellent utility knife; I had one from a previous purchase and was very pleased with its performance. These knives are razor-sharp and easy to handle, and they keep their sharp edge for a long time. It was never sharpened for me. You must exercise extreme caution in order to avoid slicing yourself. This, like most knives, should be washed by hand. After many years of washing my first knife in the dishwasher, the blade corroded and eventually destroyed the knife; however, I am extremely pleased with this knife.
I made the decision to purchase three additional pairs. After one use, these have rust stains, so wash and dry them. They're supposed to be high-quality stainless steel, but they aren't holding up as well as my three older ones.
I bought nine of these because I remembered white-handled paring knives being sharp. However, now that I've had them for a few months, the edge is severely pitted and rust spots have appeared. Although the rust fades, it is clear that these are not stainless steel (despite their claims). In a nutshell, these are great for a few months before you want to replace them.
Also manufactured in the United States of America! Dexter paring knives are exactly what I've been looking for for a long time. Until now, I had to make do with knives that were only sharpened on one side. Cutting straight with those less expensive knives is extremely difficult. These Dexter's will be ideal for use in the kitchen in general. Please use caution when handling them because they are extremely sharp.
I really like these knives and they work great, but when we put one in the dishwasher after the first time we used it, it came out pitted and the tiny holes were all starting to rust; a warning that they were hand wash only would have been very helpful in preventing us from running one, but as long as you hand wash them, they are great.
I'm a knife collector who prefers high-end models. These knives are of excellent quality and have a razor-sharp edge. In addition, they are reasonably priced. These knives come highly recommended by me.
