I'm pretty sure I didn't buy this specific item - However, I recently purchased one that is very similar to yours (which is probably why I was asked to try to answer your question). The dimensions are as follows, according to the item description: The dimensions are 3 x 1 x 11 inches. As a result, I believe the width of the "handle" part is 1 inch, whereas mine is about 12/16th of an inch. As a result, this one is likely to be a little thicker than mine.
The ice pick measures approximately 7 12 inches in length, with the cover measuring approximately 8 14 inches.
I bought it in 2013, and the sheath is still snug. I'm not sure how you'll handle it on television. It might come undone if you just keep it in your pocket, but I'm pretty sure it'll stay put if it's tucked into your checked suitcase.
Yes. This is a Chinese product.

I took a quick look at the ice pick after removing it from the packaging and attempted to put the cover on it with a little force. The cover had an insufficiently large hole. I examined the hole size as well as the metal cap. I noticed the pick's metal cap was loose and the wood had cracked when I examined it. The pick appears to be flimsy and poorly made. *I haven't tried out the pick because I'm afraid it will crack in my hands and injure me. I'm trying to think of something else.
This ice pick isn't made of stainless steel at all! The spike is flaking and rusting after one month and a day! br>It's too late to return because it's been two days. br>If the item isn't as described, an extension should be granted. br>This is the first time Amazon has let me down completely.
My elderly father was breaking up ice in his ice maker with a knife, so I bought one for him. He's taped the wooden sheath of this ice pick inside the cabinet door next to his ice maker, so he can grab it and use it quickly. He's happy now with the little things in life, so he's overjoyed with his new "gadget. ".
I don't use it for the purpose it was designed for. I keep it in my tackle box to help separate and untangle backlashed fishing line, which is especially useful if you're fishing with braided line. I chose this ice pick because it comes with a sheath, which keeps it tidy.
Such a letdown. I bought it for the sheath and pick, but it does not fit or snap into place. If a cover doesn't fit, I'm not sure what its purpose is.
I bought three of these icepicks: one for myself to repair the tin fence around my house, one for my mother to chop ice for drinks, and one for my father to make holes in his belt. These picks are strong, sturdy, and work well; they're well worth the money.
After only two uses, the bamboo case broke. The metal spike then bent, and I'm not sure it's stainless steel. The money spent was not well spent.
The quality of this product was disappointing; the cover split the first time we used it after it was taken out of the packaging. The actual ice pick works, because it's pointed and metal. br>One of the main reasons I chose this particular ice pick was that it came with a safety cover for the price.
