What is the best way to sharpen a bread ?

My knowledge of the subject is limited. It's been several years now since I've sharpened this Rada bread knife, and in all that time it's never needed a sharpening. I am very pleased with it. have about ten different Rada knives, and these are probably the last knives I will ever purchase. The knife is this good, for a reasonable price, and you will not have to sharpen it. If you're on the fence, look into this knife. You'll enjoy using it for a long time.

What should I do if this knife doesn't successfully slice through the side of the bialy?

A bialy can be cut easily with this knife, but I have not tried cutting a bialy yet.

I wish I had known about it sooner. Once it arrived, I immediately used it to slice open the roll of my sub sandwich. There were no muddles in the sandwich when it was cut. The issue is not big, but it means you do not have to be frustrated by it.

My old knife was a wonderful 10-inch model. I'm glad I had this knife in my collection I found it difficult to handle the knife because it was 12 inches long. The design of the keyboard was less clumsy and safer for me, given my small hands and short arms. I think this one will do the trick. The 6-inch blade of this knife slices very well, unlike your average bread knife. The serrated edge is very different from your average bread knife. A blade of an inch is quite sharp, and very manageable. Please do not be discouraged by the aluminum handle. Slice with confidence since the knife is balanced and well-weighted. A good grip and easy control make it easy to use. Thank you so much. I am very satisfied.

This is a perfect smaller size, and I, too, cut an English muffin every morning and hate to open up the knife block to retrieve the large bread knife. Muffins, bagels, and other small items fit perfectly in this container.
