I really like this knife

it is so easy to use and cuts through a whole loaf of whole wheat bread with ease. The reason I got this was because I have arthritis in my hands, and it actually is very easy to use. The grip is very soft and the steel is very attractive. The dexter Russell knife has been a staple in our kitchen for over 30 years and has never let us down! This is a highly recommended product.

It has been decades since I have used my first Dexter Softgrip, but it is now melted. Despite the replacement's rust spots, this one already looks bad. I am very saddened by the decline in quality.

But I bought it for it's ergonomics as well as since I plan on using it in my professional kitchen, I will treat it the same as my standard serrated knife.

Don't be foolish! picture of the knife displayed in the product description may not be the actual item! This is a knife that I have used previously, so I knew what to look for and what to expect when it The product number and the dimensions were correct, but other than that, it was a mistake. In the meantime, I will send the file back and continue my search.

Having been in the catering and deli business for over 15 years, I use their knives daily. I had one that was fairly dull, and this one is much sharper. I like this more than before because it has a larger handle.
