Questions & Answers
The item is a genuine Global knife that is currently on sale for a fantastic price.
If that's what you're looking for, it's an original global. The handle on the Sai differs from standard global knives in that it is swept back with an indentation for a pinch grip (though if you have large hands, it's easier to just ride up on the blade).

I recently added this knife to my collection, but it did not impress me when it arrived, as there is a noticeable scuff on the handle. Everything else appears to be brand new, but this is a costly item, so I expected it to be in mint condition. The scuffed handle appears to have been caused by improper storage or storage too close to other knives. br>br>Apart from that, this knife appears to be too intimidating, as if it could handle any task you throw at it. The handle is extremely comfortable and feels great in the hand; there is an indent on the left side of the handle for your thumb, which gives you a lot of control over the knife; this is the ideal knife for anyone who is right-handed.
The quality is excellent, and the set is a perfect match. Who'd have guessed that working with vegetables necessitated the use of a different knife, but it does. I realized I needed one after all.
William Sonoma was where I bought it. It's pricey (though not as much as Shun Hiro or Miyabi Mizo), but the experience of using the knife is well worth the money. The knife is one of my favorites because of its agility, balance, and sharpness. Excellent airflow design.
