This product works well IF it fits your hand, which I don't have because my hands are small. I'm not sure if any measurements are suggested, but if they aren't, I think they should be. One method is to thread one's finger and thumb through the hoops before grasping the sliced ham and placing the tip decoratively on the plate. This ensures that sanitary conditions are maintained and that each slice is not handled before being served to your guests. In the video, the process appears to work well, but it may not in reality, depending on the size of your hands.
I used these while slicing a 10-pound turkey. Boneless 12 pound jamon or prosciutto Helped me avoid cutting my finger on the knife and made moving the slices to a plate for vacuum sealing was a breeze. The rings on the pincers were comfortable to use while slicing the jamon because I have large hands for a woman but thin fingers. It is highly recommended.
The blade is quite thick, and the handle is also quite substantial. It's far superior to the Arcos Universal knife, which is a more flimsy version. The 4" diameter is ideal for a variety of uses. This is the knife I use when I don't need absolute sharpness.
It's good for show-and-tell, but it's difficult to grasp.
Very good.
It's one of my favorites, and I pair it with Costco's Jamon.
It's well-made. It's neat and tidy.
