Questions & Answers

Is the egg trivet for the 3-quart instant pot available separately? I already own your egg bites mold and don't require it - love it! ?

Don't bother; the trivet raises the mold to a point where the lid cannot be locked. I think the trivet is useful for hard or soft boiling eggs, but I'm not sure it's a trivet. The recipe worked fine without a rack or trivet because I used the mold without one.

Is it okay if I cook my egg bites right in the microwave?

I'm sorry, but I've only used them in an IP, so I can't be of more help.

Is it possible to use these silicone egg bite trays to hold a large egg straight from the shell?

Although I haven't tried it, this tray appears to be quite deep. I can't think of any reason why this wouldn't work. A goose egg would not fit in there.

Are the egg molds able to withstand a pinch test or do they turn white?

I'm not sure what you mean by the "pinch" test--I used them to make egg bites and mini chocolate cakes, and the molds kept their shape and color.

By placing the lid on the bottom mold, I can make egg bites in one and muffins in the other, and cook them both at the same time in my can cooker. The eggs are very easy to remove once they have finished cooking. Allow the muffins to cool for a few minutes before removing them from the mold; after that, they will simply pop out.

This trivet is absolutely gorgeous

I haven't tried the molds yet, but I do use the trivet frequently for eggs and as a divider. What I mean is that I might put small golden or red potatoes in the bottom of the Instant Pot, place this trivet on top of the potatoes, add a pan with either veggies or rice, place a flat trivet on top of that, and then add a meat, such as chicken, hamburger patty, or pork chop. You see where I'm going with this.

I like that these cups are bigger than my seven-cup mold, and that I can use the tricot to use two molds at once.

The egg rack is well-made, and the egg molds are as well

In my 3 quart instant pot, I stacked both of these egg molds with their lids on top of a silicone sling that I also bought on Amazon. I made egg bites with cheese despite the fact that I forgot to grease the molds first. They were not adhered to. The egg mold lids are thin, but they keep enough moisture inside. This set also came with an egg rack, which I like.

With the full size cup seen in the molds for larger IP, it's a perfect fit for 3 qt IP

I love how all three pieces fit into my 3 quart casserole dish. Instant Pot is a device that allows you to cook food in I also like that the cup is the same size as the Silicon Egg Bite Mold I bought but couldn't use because it was too big for my 3 qt. IP. I also appreciate the silicone lids. The egg holder is both adorable and practical.

The 3qt Duo Mini is perfect for it

Arrived ahead of schedule. It fit perfectly in my 3 quart mini-fridge. It's a good idea to have a taller trivet on hand. Colors are bright and cheerful, and the cover is well-fitting. Sous Vide is a fantastic technique that is incredibly simple to master. Making these at home will save you a lot of money! I'm looking forward to making mini cheesecakes. brownies.

Amazing packaging for a fantastic product

I'm really looking forward to getting the egg rack for my Instant Pot baby. The egg bite molds were a nice bonus; I don't use the one I have for the 6 qt very often. BUT, seriously, the zipper bag that contained everything is my favorite part. (Like a child, I prefer the packaging. ) I wish I could find one that was larger so that I could store all of my extra silicone rings. Thank you very much, ULEE.
