I bought it with the intention of making sous vide egg bites, but I was let down. Because the lid did not fit snugly, the egg mixture spilled out as the water was poured into the mold. I tried using a rubber band system to keep it in place, but it didn't work. I made a huge blunder. Is there any way to make this right?.
My only regret is that I didn't buy one that makes twice as much because it was such an easy breakfast. I didn't think they'd be eaten by my husband or son; When they tried them out, however, they were pleasantly surprised. It was over in a fraction of a second! It's not a big deal because we're only talking about 10 minutes. I strongly advise you to do so. My only suggestion is that the silicone be made a little thicker because it is a little flimsy when filled. I simply placed it in the instapot's metal rack and lowered it from there, and the problem was solved.
This is what I use to make sous vide egg bites in my instant pot (like the ones you can get at Starbucks) and it works perfectly. I'm thinking about getting two so I can stack them and double the recipe. I tried using small mason jars in the instant pot before, but they cracked. I should've used these right away, but I later discovered that a layer in silicone muffin cups worked just as well.
Very nice product; because the lid is silicone, it can also be used in a pressure cooker. Today I used it twice. The egg bites were absolutely delicious and popped right out of the pan!.
I purchased this in order to make sous vide egg bites and, hopefully, save money by doing so. br>THIS WAS SENT TO ME BY ANOTHER USER AND IT EXACTLY HAPPENED TO ME: br>Because the lid isn't tight enough, the egg mixture spilled out as the water was poured into the mold. I tried using a rubber band system to keep it in place, but it didn't work. I made a huge blunder. Is there any way to make this right?.
The item itself appears to be of high quality and durability. I chose it over the others because of the price, and it worked well in my instant pot. I'm not sure what the standard size is, but it appeared to be smaller than I expected. The circumference is roughly equal to that of an Oreo cookie. In addition, the cap is a nice touch. br>br>The cheesecake bites I made were a disaster, but it appears that this was due to a misguided recipe combined with my own errors.
it also makes good ice. So far, it's only been used to make ice balls with a flat bottom for my husband's whiskey glass.
