Sadly, I never learned how to cook, so this little pan has seen some tears, bacon burned, and whatever else had stuck on it. It was claimed by some reviewers that nothing sticks to this, which meant I thought I could make scrambled eggs but it stuck. That is remedied by adding butter or oil first, but I thought it wouldn't stick without those things, so I was a little disappointed, because it works just like any other $12 frying pan I can purchase at a local store, but this is more sturdy so far. It feels high quality, built well and everything about it feels sturdy. My only complaint is that you should use cooking oil or butter with it or it will stick to things.

I've had it for about a month now and it has been wonderful. The old pan I had was the kind of pan that stuck to everything, so cleaning it after cooking just about anything was an ordeal. There's no sticking to this one, and you can clean it in seconds after each use. Although I'm not a chef, I cannot speak to the performance of this frying pan for serious culinary work, but for the home cook who just needs a frying pan for daily use this is a superb buy.

Sometimes people overthink what cooking ware they need, thinking it needs to be expensive (like a kitchenaid appliance. I have found this to be the case with many non-profits Unlike a nonstick frying pan, an induction pan has a not flat cooking surface. The eggs often run to the edges of the pan with the cooking liquid. As far as I can tell, the induction plate is added after the aluminum part of the pan has been stamped which bends the cooking surface upward. I have only used this pan a few times and it heats up well and cleans easily after use with a damp cloth. No items have stuck to me in the past. I am satisfied with the weight and handle has remained cool while I have been.
