Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how deep the skillet is?

The interior depth of the piece is 2", not 3". We wouldn't be returning it if the interior depth were three inches. Almost all frying pans now have an interior width under 2 inches. We are seeing frying pans made in 2016 with outside dimensions of 2 1/2" and interior dimensions of at least 2".

There is a Cuisinart 622 in my kitchen Nonstick hard anodized 12-inch pan for 30G Chef's Classic A glass cover is included with this 8-inch skillet. Is it possible to use the cover from that pan for this?

There is no lid on the 14" so I don't know what it is like It's my fault. The other two are all 12" (AlClad #2461310 I brought the Cuisinart but the AlClad had a lid with it when I bought it I hope that helps. The lid fits both perfectly.

The 12-inch has a different handle than the 10-inch Does the skillet have two styles of handles? I see two different handles in the pictures. ?

These stick handles are made of stainless steel and riveted to the stick about 8 inches long The size of the picture is 1/2" wide and 1" long

Buy this pan at your own risk My first attempt to cook with Teflon caused my kitchen tools to scratch (despite using a soft brush)
3/5

It is a terrible pan! Don't buy it! As soon as you open the box, the product looks wonderful. I love the way it cooks and it doesn't stick to the pan. It scratches easily because it is so thin. It was easy to handle a soft silicone spatula for cooking chicken breasts. I noticed scratch marks when I turned the chicken over in the pan after it was done cooking, so I cleaned the pan as soon as I could. After saluting some mushrooms the next day with a nylon spatula, I threw in the towel. As I was cleaning the pan, I noticed that the nylon spatula had left new swirl marks. When the pan can't stand up to the soft kitchen tools I used, it won't be long before the pan will no longer be Non-stick. Stick to it. I recommend buying Teflon pans, but not this brand. (Full The Cuisinart I have is stainless steel, and I love it. one of the best pans). I am Mike.

It's what I was looking for
5/5

To replace an often-used giada brand teflon pan, we took a look at the Amazon site. Cooking is done by my husband, and I noticed that the teflon was beginning to wear. I handed him my phone and asked him to buy a pan I simply let him search for what he wants, since he's very meticulous and specific about what he wants. The pan he chose was the one he chose after reviewing several others for about 30 minutes. A large surface area, thick walls (how wide and tall the pan was), and high quality material made it great. It didn't flake like Teflon, seemed sturdy, and was definitely going to Upon receiving the pan, my husband did not find anything wrong with it and after examining it, he was pleased The handle worried me that we couldn't store it with our other pans (too wide for the shelf we have), but the handle turned out to be perfect. We washed it and then used it the same night to make some penne spaghetti. As far as performance was concerned, he was satisfied. Please note Even though it claims that it is capable of handling metal utensils, we don't believe it holds true for anything coated An additional review stated that the chef's whisk scratched his pan with its spinning motion. Since we've scratched other pans before, we just've never used metal utensils (my husband prefers wood and other materials regardless).

It's been 14 years and still going strong! This skillet was my first purchase in 2007 and it still works like new! These 14 years have seen me move five times and not a single time have I felt let My kitchen has never been equipped with metal utensils, and I always wash them by hand
5/5

The last year has been the first year when it has begun to lose some of its non-required employees The ability to stick to something Occasionally, food sticks to it (when cooking 1, for example. It takes about 5 pounds of mushrooms without liquid in the pan), but deglazing with a little liquid and a wooden spoon works well. As soon as it finally dies, I will not hesitate to purchase another one! I have always had great results with all of my Cuisinart anodized cookware. I have never owned cookware so good!.

A lasting product that can withstand daily use for years
5/5

It's really helpful to have two handles when there is a lot of food in the pan. It depends on how close the short handle is to the heating element if it gets hot. I keep my cooking surface in good condition even though I cook at a fairly high temperature often.

Pan has a great deal of power
5/5

Definitely one of the best frying pans! It is one of the ingredients in my baked apple pancake every Sunday. The material can withstand temperatures from 450 to 600 degrees An oven with a temperature of 350 degrees. The original review of this frying pan was for an item purchased by my father, so that review has been edited - the original review was for another frying pan that had stuck. Legal system.

Even after 19 months, you're in great shape! The 10 inch version was added to our purchase of one of these
5/5

We have been left disappointed by non-performance for years With our new stick skillet, we've finally found a product that is both effective and durable. The skillets I bought 19 months ago have still been used nearly daily, but they are in great condition and should last a long time. Our expert team strongly recommends these skillets, not only because of their quality, but also because of their value. In order to take proper care of them, we follow the following basic rules Do not use heat above a medium setting, do not use Pam or spray oils (we use olive oil), do not use metal utensils (don't be tempted to do so, no matter what they claim), and do not use scouring pads made of metal. Scrubbing pads are rarely needed on nonstick skillets (though they can be useful in some conditions). There are now only very tiny wear scratches on the surfaces, but none that penetrate the non-sticking surfaces completely Put a layer of sticky tape on top. There is only normal wear and tear, which is far less than any other form of wear and tear It is the first non-stick skillet we have Then there are those who don't There is no problem with the stick surface. The are keeper items, and we will buy again when the time comes. Cuisinart, good for you!.

It is not perfect but it does its job
4/5

We have had the 12 inch size of this pan for quite a while. The pan is a very good pan for the most part, and over the years I have liked it a lot however, I dislike the non-stick coating Eventually, the stick deteriorated to the point where it was no longer a stick Stick to it. Another possible cause could be the pan itself, or perhaps it was a result of being used on a glass stove - Maybe it is the ridge in the top, or maybe it is just the fact it has been through the dishwasher quite a few times (albeit not many), but the pan now has some wiggle now. There is nothing too extreme about these pans, and they are better than any of the Revere Ware pans with which they share a cupboard with, but they are there I still consider it my favourite pan even though there are a few problems with it. Having the ability to switch from stove-top to oven It is great that the top of the oven can be used as a top. As a matter of fact, I'm not sure I'll ever return to pans where this can't be done.

The nonstick finish is great and the weight is light
5/5

My favorite thing about this pan is its shape. The fact that I am picky and cook a lot makes me a lot of trouble. The nonstick finish is great and I have used it a few times already and it feels slicker than other ng pans I have had in the past. It's beyond my comprehension what caused that other poster to say the egg had stuck. It's possible that she dropped the tray in a pan of cold water? The Calphalon pans just don't hold up anymore, so I decided to try another brand. I also love that this pan is so lightweight (a pleasant surprise), because it makes it so much easier to use, especially when you have to hold it up with one hand while pouring. The price is right on this pan, so you really cannot go wrong. In the event that the finish doesn't hold up, I will update this review, but the finish didn't hold up on the Calphalon either, so they all seem to have a limited shelf-life Whatever the case may be, life goes on. I use them a lot, so I would advise you to do the same.
