I was disappointed when I discovered that the lid of this pan no longer fit easily on the top after using it for a week. I don't know how it happened, but the inside of the pan has warped and now the lid only fits with force. In fact, it is a shame because otherwise this is a pretty good A quick and even heat is provided. It gets the job done with its nonstick surface. A pan would never have been exposed to extreme heat or blunt trauma if it had been treated gently. Using it every day for a long time shouldn't cause it to bend like that. I was unsure of the dimensions because they weren't mentioned, but some of the answers in the Q&A section were helpful. I assumed this was a pan of 11 or 12 inches based on the information I read. There is no such thing. I've had this pan for a very short time, but it's a great sauté pan. No scrambled eggs escaped from the pan on the stove as I made them for my husband. The stove was in good shape, and I had no problem cleaning the pan. The bacon I will cook in it will be delicious. Having made meatballs that have browned on the outside and then been sauteed in sauce, I am amazed at how delicious the meal was. In my mind, I cannot imagine using the dishwasher for it. My OXO pan is still in good shape, but I'm not sure how long it will last. I am quite small and I have not had any problems lifting this pan when it is full. It feels sturdy and not cheap at all. You can maneuver the handle with ease and it does not get too My favorite pan in my kitchen is the one I use to cook Chinese and Japanese dishes as well as grilled cheese sandwiches. I use it most frequently to create dishes and it always comes out right. This pan looks like it will last for a very long time. I rarely use a lid, but one might be nice.
