Pans like this do not come with lids, and I don't think one is designed to fit this pan.

It is
5/5

The best pan on the market. Whether you are a bushwhacker or a thru hiker, this fry pan is perfect for you. A fry pan like this is about 49 times heavier than any other pan, but it has a high capacity It is robust, made of sturdy stainless steel, and it has an aluminium sandwich base (clad) for very even heating and cooking. There is enough size and strength in this model to handle most any chore. The alloy is nowhere near as light as aluminum or titanium, but the properties are superior nonetheless. My stovetop stovetop washed with hot water and soap after delivery, and then I sprayed it with bacon grease, fried some bacon in it, then rubbed the grease all over the top, and then baked it at 400 F for half Does this tarnish the lovely, shiny color of stainless steel completely? A similar stick) and cleaning is equally It cooks fish wonderfully in this pan, and I take ghee (clarified butter) with me when I cook, since it does not require refrigeration.

It consists of a My favorite fry pan of all time is the MSR Alpine Fry Pan! Stainless steel is perfectly adequate for use as a cooking pan if you know how to use it Sear the stainless steel correctly and it will stay nonstick for a long time
5/5

It's nice to find a backpacking/camping fry pan that has a thicker bottom than just about every other one I have seen. The result is a more even distribution of heat and more effective heat retention. Despite being detachable, the MSR Alpine Fry Pan wire "handle" is solidly constructed when secured with the lock, so there is no wiggle room once secured. The pan has a v-shaped design that is often overlooked but is a nice feature Pouring of liquids is enabled by a crimped shape. Dimensions **** *** The top of the pan has the following Diameter of the bottom of the pan 63"
The height of the pan is 50"
The handle length is 00"
Look at the pics for more details of the construction of this 25" piece.

I like it a lot! In actuality, it's an 8" pan with a handle on the side
5/5

What I was looking for was exactly what I found. There are a lot of pans out there, but this is the only one that fits my requirements. Aluminium is available, but it is heat-resistant, but it tends to warp easily and may have Alzheimer's connections. However, titanium is very thin, so it does not heat evenly, and it is extremely expensive. Steel is left as the only remaining option. That means MSR or GSI are the only real options, since both brands offer nonstick, but Teflon is the devil's There is no stainless steel pan offered by GSI, and no one else seems to offer an equivalent, except for those tiny lids, which are also supposed to be pans. The only thing that made the decision easy was that. There is more to it than that. It is impossible to move the slider once it has been locked in place. That is one strong handle. With the aluminum disc stuck on the bottom, the stainless steel becomes thermally dense without adding much in the way of An edge of the container has a crimp that produces a pour spout for grease and similar substances. You won't have issues with your pans sticking if you grease them and keep them at a constant temperature, but if you don't know what you're doing, you might. Here is a photo of the test I performed. I tried several products at the same time. A couple of days ago, I cooked an egg over an open fire using this tool and the MSR folding spatula. It came out perfect, and I look forward to making pancakes, bacon, and eggs in the woods with this tool. There's no doubt this pan is meant to nest under the alpine 3L pot, but what kind of lunatic would be carrying a pot that big anywhere there is a problem with space? The dish would be just as simple to prepare using a regular flat pan, right? Since that happened to come in a mesh bag large enough to fit both, I nestled it beneath the stainless steel dish.

Oil is the best solvent to remove glue
4/5

It's obvious GLUE from tape is there, you can see it as soon as you remove the handle from the skillet. As a result of previous reviews, I already knew soap and water would not remove it, so glue is not water soluble. I apologize for being such a chemist nerd. Apply a tea spoon of oil, such as olive oil, sunflower oil, or any oil you like. There is oil in the skillet, use the paper tower to rub the oil into the spots with the tape glue, just work those spots, glue is oil based, so it will mix with the oil, and you'll see it disappear after a few minutes, leaving just oil. You can wash it in soap and water when you see that it is well oiled and there are no remnants of glue. If you see any remaining stains after your glue is gone, sprinkle baking soda on dry spots and rub for another 20 seconds, followed by a paper towel to make sure there are no more glue stains. You will be able to care for it perfectly after the next wash. 1 as well. The 6 liter msr alpine skillet will fit into the one with the handle, and the one with the handle will fit into the 6. Pot with a capacity of 6 liters. I wish you a happy camping experience.
