Questions & Answers

In what unit of measurement is a quart measured?

The question is a good one. In order to add 2 1/2 quarts of water, I added 1/2 inch above the top of the pitcher using my measuring pitcher. The container would probably need to be filled with another pint to stir but you wouldn't be able to do so. When I make one-pot meals, I always use this pan Here are recipes from Viola, Bertinelli, and PF Chang using the skillet. It will take 11 minutes for 2 to eat dinner.

Can anyone try Bridget and Julia's recipe on America's Test Kitchen? In fact, have anyone tried cold chicken dropping on a 500°F preheated pan, then frying it at 500°F for half an hour?

The pan cannot handle a temperature of 500 degrees.

Does this pan go all the way to the bottom?

This is the bottom of the pan, how does it look like?

This pan is solid for the most part, but it has a few downsides
4/5

I like this pan because it does what it should. There are, however, a few concerns I have. In contrast to what's implied by the description, handles are NOT "always cool. " It was a bit surprising to see the "always cool" description of the handle in the description, considering the handles were made of metal, but it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me if the handles are really heated, as I've now discovered. You will need pot holders for the handles since they are metal and get hot when they touch your hands. Having been too shallow for me to think it will be versatile, The depth of the cavity is 25 inches. The pan could have been deeper if it had been made. A maximum of two diced onions and 1 cup of broth can be cooked in it. There will be a lot of liquid in the pan and you won't be able to stir it around without spilling anything. You can see the two onions in the broth in the pictures. Using the 12-inch cutout for the other picture, six pork chops can be fitted snugly in the pan Pan with a diameter of 8 inches. You can see how shallow it is from the pictures. It is not possible to keep food in a pan with tapered edges. moving the two diced onions around in the pan, some were sliding off the rim and some were flying off even though I was not moving the spatula very fast. The tapered edges are very smooth and are very tapered. In this regard, it is a pro, as the food will slide off easily if you are serving it on a serving platter. The food tends to slide out of the pan if you don't watch out, but you can keep it inside if you keep it inside the pan while cooking. * Due to the tapered edges on the lid, it easily slides off the pan. For me, this is not a deal breaker since I don't use the lid unless it is called for in a recipe. Therefore, if you do decide to put it to use, be sure you pay attention when transferring the pan from the stove to the oven or the table, since the lid can slip off if you don't. In addition, the nonstick part of the grill feels solid and has a good weight to it, even when heating. It took me a little over three minutes to sear 6 pork chops in the 12" pan until they were It did not take much space to fit six pork chops. In the end, I did not feel like splitting the batch into two so I fit all 6 pork chops into one dish. I used 1/2 Tbsp of ghee (clarified butter) to sear them for about 5 minutes on each side. They came out golden brown and crispy on the edges as expected. Considering how shallow it is, you can only fit a small amount in it. Therefore, it is a good pan. This pan is a great choice for making eggs, pancakes, frying bacon, searing four pieces of meat, sautéing an onion, or the like, essentially small amounts of food where you don't have to move them around much. In the event, however, that you need something to do more, choose a pan at least 3 inches deep (I have one that is 3 inches deep and can saute three sides of onions and three sides of bell peppers at the same time). You can read part 2 here. Unlike a deeper 3" or more pan, a 25" Cuisinart pan isn't going to hold as much food as a deeper I'd say that stir-fries are not good for you. You should not fry where you will move some vegetables around a lot because they will fly off and out of the pan (you will need a deeper pan for this). I do not like how shallow this pan is. The photos and review I've provided will hopefully aid others in making a decision on whether or not to purchase.

Seeing my ever-evolving life on a pan
5/5

Five stars were given to the product because it was made in the United States. Although the handles are short and easier to use, they get hot, so you should It's easy to remove the omelets from It is a pleasure to work with the customer service department. I'll keep buying this brand as long as it continues to be made in the USA and has good quality. Also, I got a good When I first mounted the first one to my glass top stove, it was a bit unsteady, but Amazon fixed it right away. This is my favorite everyday pan from the whole set of commercial pans made in the U. S. I just recently bought the entire set of commercial pans. My cooktop works for omelets and stir fries alike, it is deep enough for stir fries and shallow enough for grilled cheese and omelets. Ensure your pot is as flat as possible so food does not stick. It is easy to clean, and it is also attractive to look at.

It gets warm when the handles are in contact with the pan
4/5

The handles get hot, however, the descriptions that describe stick handles (which this does not have) state that the handles stay cool. Would have given it 5 stars if the handles stayed cool. When on the pan, the lid feels a little slippery, but I have not experienced any issues so far and seals in liquid well. A non-profit organization It is easy to clean a stick surface.

It's great to have a pan you can use every day! It's a great pan to use every day
5/5

This skillet is large enough to hold a dinner for two Shaping is shallow and curved in a perfect way for stirring and draining Serving the community. Despite their metal handles, I was still able to turn and hold the pan with them at such close distance from the flame, even with the heat so close at hand. You may have to lift more weight than the skillet to access the lid. I find that the skillet's weight seems solid, but it is not so heavy that I can't handle it comfortably with my arthritic hand. In the case of a long handle, having two handles is preferable. The piece will remain as good as new if you wash and dry it right away.

It is important to be aware that the pan and lid's handles are The heat was a surprise for me. As soon as I start cooking, I handle it with hot pads. My experience with this project has been extremely annoying, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
