A few other brands I purchased had the "hatch" fall open sometimes or not stay open at all. There are a variety of colors other than silver grey for these lids in addition to remaining open. Using these jars for making cold brew coffee and storing them in large mason jars is ideal. When you compare it to similar offerings, the price is good. In order to prevent them from being thrown around by the spray, I use the built-in loop to secure them in the top rack of the dishwasher. I made maple syrup and put it up in pint jars and found these to be very useful for not letting it drip all down the edge of the jar after pouring. I really like how well they're made and how well they work! More than two were bought for use by my family. There is no syrup leakage from this tab because it snaps tight. I would buy this product.

This lid had to be returned because when they're put on snugly enough (the usual snugness, not too tight), it is impossible to take them The fact that I had to wait for my husband to get home more than once finally made me give up on the product. Moreover, the silicone ring falls out easily when washed and would most likely be lost within a short period of time.

Can you bear to have your drink permanently sealed and stuck everywhere because the lid literally seals as if it were How many hours would it take you to forcefully open a jar with sore fingers? . . . and if so, congratulations! You have won this lid! My goal with buying this lid was to have the convenience of drinking water or tea without having to screw and unscrew mason jar lids every time I drink it, but this lid has caused me more trouble It seems this product has failed to deliver the intended results, because I'll have to switch to my old mason jar lids in order to spare my poor sore wrists and hands.

During the winter season, I milk dairy goats, and store their milk in 1/2 gallon Mason jars. There's a problem with the jars because their mouths are so wide that it's almost impossible not to spill some when pouring into the glass, especially if it's I especially like how snug the cap fits on the pour spout, and how easy pouring is. I recommend that you do this as soon as you finish, so the milk will not dry and you won't have to remove it all again later. I would have given it five stars, but I think the price is I think paying $00 for each of them is a little excessive.

I appreciate that there is a silicone gasket for these, since they seem durable as advertised. While they might be great for pouring, they are bad for sipping (or drinking) There is a large opening that is too short and spout, and it is initially difficult to open and close the cap (after the cap has been opened and closed a few times, however, it seems to become.

Thanks to great customer service my tab broke right off this morning. In the second one, you cannot open the lid so easily that I took it out of the box. I've tried opening the lid in one of the other colors, and it's also extremely difficult. Here's what's new My star rating has been raised.
