I use them to keep my breast milk in mason jars!.
The bottles come with plastic rings that you can insert for added leak protection, but I've never needed to use them and everything always works properly. They are really good, in my opinion.
This is a wonderful product. I love the thin sides that have little notches on them for The pros are - Colorful - A great way to assign one color to each member of the family if you meal prep or have multiple children. The lids are easy to screw on and off and have a good grip. The material is easy to clean. This lid does not rust like a regular mason jar lid.
On all of the small mouth canning vehicles I use on a daily basis, I have them installed. It's great to have them There are many bright colors to choose from, but some of them don't seem to screw on so easily, for whatever reason. I would assume the majority There's something strange about this. The concern I have is that they may leak, but since I have not tested them all for leak, I cannot offer an accurate assessment It is difficult to give a clear-cut answer There is yet another problem, which is that the little sealing rings that you have to attach yourself on the inside of the lids sometimes come off when you wash them in the sink. As a result of that, I am happy to have them, they are better than the tin ones that are included with the jars, and they are cheaper than the plastic alternatives that are available.
It is a pain in the **** to use silicone rings because they fall out of the lids when you pull them out, or they do not line up properly when you are putting on the lid. Due to the fact that I already used them, I couldn't return them. Because I got so frustrated with the silicone rings, I used Locktite brush on super glue to glue the silicone rings to the lid of the jar. This is the last time I'll buy these.
2) I screwed the lids on no more tightly than my finger could do. Although I have done this, I am still unable to unscrew about one out of four In order to unscrew them, my husband must do it. One of the characteristics of the ones that cling really well is their vacuum seal. tried every unwind helper ever made, but I have not been able to remove them. It is merely a warning for the customers who may not be as strong as they should be. Whenever I find a surprisingly easy way to unscrew the lids, I will revise this rating.
There is no water in them.
Despite the fact that they did not specifically mention it on the listing, I decided to take the chance and bought the regular size, which did come with silicone rings. In the future, I plan on making vanilla extract in jars and using them in my brew.
