There is an issue with the Jarware 82658 Stainless Steel Fruit Infusion. Most of my mason jars (Ball / Kerr / unbranded) do not fit. Of the 24 jars I tried, only one fit. So I tried a few more until one fit. There is definitely no guarantee that it will fit on any mason jar, but it was tested on one mason jar. Having a Mason Jar addiction is a serious problem for me. Every aspect of Mason Jars is appealing to me. It was an instant buy for me as soon as I saw these spirilizers. Having a small kitchen makes storage a problem for me since I like to go camping often. I also like to go camping and this would be the perfect size to take along. Perhaps part of the problem stems from the fact that I also suffer from arthritis. It was an urgent need for me to use them right away, so I washed them. After I got out several carrots, pressing and twisting them at first was relatively easy but as the thicker parts of the carrot ground down, it became difficult for me. It may have been one of the spiral lids that broke, but since I did not inspect them thoroughly before using them, Unfortunately, I had to dig out the carrot after it got stuck. It wasn't easy digging it out because the blades are sharp and there isn't a lot of room inside. As a result, I was unable to get anything unstuck and had to change My son said it would be easy to get it started if I only used it to cook zucchini or cucumbers. Since that one incident, I haven't tried it out as I was When I make a decision to try my recipe again with softer veggies, I'll update my review. Obviously, I have arthritic hands, so I might be the only one with this issue. They are very convenient as the pieces easily fit into the jar and there is no mess to clean - you just dump them into a pot or bowl after cooking and you are done. The fact that it does almost exactly as it's supposed to, so why not give it 5 stars, despite its utilitarian nature. The other night we went out with a group of friends to our local joint and I went to look for one of those Red Pepper Flake shakers you see at pizza places, but I noticed something It's very difficult to get the right amount of sauce on my pizza because the holes are too small. Half the time, I end up taking the top off and dumping sauce on top. As a result of that, the purpose of purchasing similar ones for home was defeated. The lid on THIS bottle must be entered. There are three sets of holes in varying sizes (the middle one would work well for pepper flakes), as well as a pour spout space in case I need to use the container in bulk. Additionally, there is a "closed" setting on the swivel lid, which is awesome since I'm a bit of a klutz and always knock things over in our tiny kitchen, so this prevents anything from spilling. I do a lot of canning and receive a lot of canned gifts, so it was a perfect gift for my less-experienced friends Jars large enough to hold jelly were used. I'm thinking of getting more for my salt for cooking and baking soda for cleaning (both already in mason jars) since I like to keep both airtight in our humid house in summer.
