iLIDS Mason Jar Drink Lid, Wide Mouth, Aqua Blue, Pack of 2

Though not leakproof, these bottles are resistant to spills. For someone who likes to drink out of mason jars such as myself, these lids are really useful. Though they are not leak-proof, they are very effective at preventing spills It is possible to lose proof and liquid from the opening if the jar is tipped over while in the closed position. As long as you screw the lid on correctly, there will be no leaks from the sides. For example, you can use them around the house or take them into the car if you want to take your drinks with you. My favorite reason for drinking out of mason jars is that the glass in them seems to provide better insulating qualities than the material used to make regular drinking glasses or ceramic mugs. I find that warm or cold liquids stay warmer for a longer time. By using the cap, I notice that my morning coffee stays even warmer for longer, which is a nice It has a white gasket on the inside of the lid, which is my only concern. As far as I know, there is no way to clean it or whether or not it will stay clean over time or if it has to be cleaned periodically. The owners of these lids even directly emailed me to ask if large straws would fit. Therefore I was really excited about them. A regular long straw, as long as it was not a boba straw, should fit. I began using my lids with my 9mm silicone straws once I got them. wouldn't fit if the straw wasn't forced in with a bit of strength, and then the straw would get squished between the lid and the Still works, but not in an ideal way. Despite all of the hype about how great they are and how safe they are in the description, when I got them they were just simply plastic lids made from #5. Despite this being the safest plastic and it is the only plastic I feel comfortable using in my home, I feel the very expensive price is not justified, especially when you can purchase Ball branded lids and straws (2 lids and 2 straws in a pack) for about $4. A total of 5 are available. It is obvious Amazon charges sellers a lot of fees for selling here, but the price for just one lid is absurd. They are great for cold drinks because they allow you to close the top, and they are great for drinking warm drinks because of Although they aren't leakproof, you can use them to carry liquids. There is one other point I want to point out I've seen people on other reviews mention that they threw the whole mason jar and lid away when they couldn't remove the lid. The thought of that was unbelievable to me! Apparently, my lid has also gotten stuck on my jar, but all I did was run it under hot water for a few seconds and it easily came As a whole, I feel a little let down given the expensive price on these. The only time I would consider purchasing these is if they were the only lids available made of #5 plastic.

I got this item as a replacement for the cupow I was not expecting the iLids to be as good as they were. It is obvious that the top of this product is not leakproof, as the seller stated. I find that it leaks a lot more than a regular cupow lid, which is totally open and does not slide. The iLid is also difficult to remove from the jar after I have used it it seals itself. 'I need to tap the jar on the edge of a table in order to loosen it. ' I would not recommend the iLid, as it isn't worth the price at all. Furthermore, it adds a lot of bulk to the top of the jar and is unsightly. Returning to get my $16 back will probably be my next step.

I have eight of them. It is a joy to share these lids with my friends. Despite the fact that smoothies are harder to drink through them, they are still great. As for leaks, they aren't leakproof, but I am using them in my car cupholder, so I don't see that as a problem. As far as cleaning underneath the slider goes, you can actually remove it in full. My favorite thing about these lids is their unique design. In the past, I have found that when I removed coffee lid sliders from other lids, there would be slime and mold under it, or I would The first time that I purchased these was from Whole Foods, thanks to a friend of mine. I liked the product. For me, the iLids are best *br* - Instead of two pieces, it is in one piece I. - This is an easy product to wash (either straight from the dishwasher or putting it in a sink) I am concerned. There will be no rusting and it will not corrode A plastic taste instead of a rubbery silicone one. I would give it 5 stars if I could, but there is one problem. A star is deducted for the fact that it isn't 100% leak-proof. The leak may be small, but nevertheless it is a leak.

Upon receiving these lids, I was very pleased. The color and the design are nice, but they don't function. When it comes to lids, one of the most important attributes for me is that they don't If I shake up the drink and the contents have settled, everything spills out. I like that iLIDS does not require me to use a rusting metal ring with this piece, as it fits my larger straws and also fits my bigger straws! What a great idea!.

absolutely love this product! It fits my jar perfectly and adds a pop of color as well. Although I generally use it with a straw in it and keep it upright, I have not really tested its sealability. However, I have stored drinks in the fridge without the straw and it works fine, At the moment, I have two colors and am looking into a third! I should add I've used these in conjunction with both silicone and neoprene sleeves for my jars, and I prefer the silicone jacket, because I feel as if the silicone jacket clings to the jar better and provides a more secure grip. Since I only drink from them anymore, I have no other choice! This is a truly great product!.
