In case of any standard canning lid (rarely A narrow-minded person A standard mouth lid has a nominal diameter (when viewed from the top) of 67mm. Rubber from 57 mm, with a thickness of 5 mm (2 21/32"). There are 5 millimeters (as diam) between the two edges. Lids with wide mouths are nominally 84 mm in diameter, and have a rubber thickness of 72 mm. A diameter of 5 mm (as measured in diameter). It is approximately the middle of these ranges (that is, in the middle of the rubber strips) where jars sit. As a side note, if you are gentle (i.e. I'd rather have a bottle opener on the side than the front! 1) when opening the sealed lids, you can see the product details again You can use them several times before they stop sealing properly as they age. My personal experience is that a lid either completely seals or it doesn't seal at all (throw it away). It is important to note that the most common cause of non- compliance is due to Sealing is the process of driving food out of the can during cooling at the end of the canning cycle. This is because the interior of the pots is always hotter than the exterior of the pots at this point. As a result, the interior contents during cooling become vigorously boiling and develop a net pressure. The process of canning is inherent in this, and you should not seal the jars too tightly before heating, when cooling will cause them to explode from internal pressure. As the cooker is sealed during the initial cooling stage, it is impossible to see this, but you can see bubbles rising as you take the jars out of the water -- note the bubbles rising at the very end -- after cooling. In this photo, you can see steam boiling inside the jars, from the hotter contents to the cooler lid regions, even if they are partially vacuumed!
If your jar doesn't seal, you just need to pour boiling water again I recommend making it into a jar and using a different lid (after carefully cleaning and inspecting the
In 2020, there will be a greater demand for jar LIDS. You shouldn't pay more than $3 for them. I am only interested in a box of 12 lids for $50. A price estimate for the COVID pandemic.
The only ones offered here are the regular Ball lids. There are no rings included in the picture, though it may appear that way from the picture. Please accept this as my sincere apology. TMF - Tony C

Thus, there is no seal, so no food can be canned! Ball Corporation told us that ALL of their lids (and Kerr's) are made in the USA, so if they do not have "MADE IN THE USA" on the lids or the boxes then that means they are not genuine Ball lids, they are knock-offs. From Amazon's XY store, we can see a photo of the box bearing an American flag with made in USA written across it. Actually, they didn't tell us where they are manufactured!.
Having ordered this item on 26 August with $9 expedited delivery to Maine, I received it today. We have been waiting eight days for a package to be delivered, as it has been sent from Maryland to Washington DC, back to Maryland, not to another place in Maryland. In this case, you are receiving the grand tour of Maryland for a very small amount.
This has disappointed me a great deal!.
This lid was old and worn out. It looked like it had been sitting on a shelf for awhile. It looked like the rubber sealing on the edge was very old because it had oozed over the edge in some places. It was my intention to return them as they weren't usable and were extremely high, but I discovered they aren't returnable. Could you explain why that is the case? Is it because a metal lid cannot be returned? This is the only reason why they want Since this product is a rip off, I do not recommend anyone purchase it unless they want to waste their money and time on it.
Despite being around for a long time, I have used the ball lids for at least 30 years and have always been pleased with their My first experience with an off-brand product was a frightful one, the lids all popped up instead of sealing and I thought they were going to explode. Whenever you are in a bind and cannot find the Ball or Kerr brand, it would be wise to wait until you find the good stuff. If you need to order off line, their shipping is great, it is extremely fast these days and I.
The lids do not have any problems. There appears to be a Ball in these.
I like the look of them. It will take me a few canning runs to find out how well they do.
Around the exterior is the packing. I had no problems with the box,.
