This base is approximately 4 inches wide, with a 2mm high lip on each of the heart pillars if you look closely. My teapot's bottom is only 3 inches wide, making it too small for the base. I don't believe it's designed to hold anything larger than a 4 inch teapot because it won't stay put.
It's the same size as a regular tealight (diameter 1.25 inches). To fit in, you'll need a 5 inch diameter hole.

It did a good job of keeping my tea warm. Of course, because it's made of glass, you should handle it with caution. I am ecstatic! It has a lovely appearance as well. For your convenience, I've included a short video.
The "Perfect" way to keep your tea warm! It works well with my glass teapot (which I also purchased on Amazon) and keeps my tea warm so I can enjoy it whenever I want. br>Sturdy glass, heavy in weight, and adaptable to various sizes of teapots or coffee pots (all I have is glass). br>I would advise caution because it is a slick surface with glass against glass, so place your warmer where you want to use it before placing your teapot or coffee pot on it. When the tealight is lit, it emits a pleasant glow, which I find ideal for evenings. When not in use, it simply adds something to your table setting.
FYI. To protect the wood surfaces of my furniture or my ceramic tray, I place a braided hotpad under the teapot warmer.
However, it only keeps your tea lukewarm, which is a huge disappointment! I've been looking for a warmer for my Delft tea pots, but they're over $30 plus shipping from a few Holland stores in the United States. Holland, as well as the rest of the world. So I was very excited when I found this, read the reviews, and measured the dimensions (including on my clear glass teapot that I use for "flowering teas"). However, after 15 minutes, the glass teapot began to cool, and the tea did as well, even though the teapot was only half full. Even changing the tealight didn't help; I had to keep reheating my tea mug in the microwave to get it hot enough to drink without burning my lips, tongue, or throat. It's attractive, has a substantial weight to it, is better suited for tealights, and is well packaged, but it's not exactly what I had hoped for. Next, I'll try my Delft teapots to see if they affect the temperature of my regular Dutch teapots. Salada teas are a type of tea that is made from the leaves of the.
It's sturdy, well-packaged, and does a fantastic job of keeping my tea hot! This keeps my glass tea kettle hot for up to 6 hours, depending on the quality of the tea light, which I use when I'm stuck at the computer or have visitors over. I have a medium-sized glass teapot with a rounded bottom, and the grooves on the bottom help keep the teapot in place. I've never had a problem with my tea pot slipping around, and this warmer is sturdy enough to stay put even when bumped. Because it's glass, I recommend setting it on a cork, textured fabric, or rubber gripped trivet if you're using it on a very slick surface and worried about it being knocked around (like at a busy dinner party).
I like that it's made of glass and that it keeps my teapot and its contents warm with a tea candle. It's simply too adorable to be so useful. And it was crucial that it didn't take anything from my plain glass teapot. They appear to be one piece when viewed as a whole. I couldn't think of a better item to keep in my office than this!.
I purchased a glass teapot, as well as this lovely glass teapot warmer, based on a reviewer's recommendation. I'm glad I did because a tea light candle (not included) in the center keeps my tea warm perfectly. It's a stunning piece of work. heart cradles thick, thick, thick, thick, thick, thick, thick, thick, thick and it appears to be identical to the pictures!.
The hearts are cute rather than kitschy. She carries a small amount. I was confident in my use of it. The tealight shines through the glass and gives off a warm glow. Romantic. It was a perfect match for the glass kettle I bought to go with it.
My glass teapot was not shattered. It matches my glass teapot perfectly and is very attractive. It actually performs better than I had anticipated. It was only supposed to keep the water warm, I reasoned. After boiling water in my teapot, I moved it to my living room, lit a tea light, and placed my teapot on top. My teapot began to make noises in a matter of seconds. The water appeared to have begun to boil once more. It's nearly unbearably hot outside. So, before I put my teapot on the warmer, I'll have to wait for the water to cool down a little. After that, there was some soot from the candle under the teapot, but it was easily wiped away.
