Many openings are found on top of the candle warmer to allow the candle to breathe. I bought this to go with my cast iron pot and it works like a charm.
There's this warmer that I have- -I use it to keep mugs of tea warm so that they can be consumed- I have used it with a variety of ceramics and pottery mugs, and have had no problems with it.
3 tea type candles can easily be placed there, but I am not sure if they will produce enough BTUs to use it as a space heater, and it would not be an efficient use of power since you'll need to replace them every 1/2 hour.
morning, an unfortunate fact is that this device will not act as a space heater, but rather to preheat a teapot so the liquid will not become Old Dutch Customer Service Team Thanks for your help, I appreciate it

Tea is one of our favorite things to drink, so we always make sure to have it on hand. Place it on your coffee table and have hot tea and brewing tea at the same time. I like the quality of the products.
The cast iron beauty I chose was the result of a lot of shopping. Reviewers have overwhelmingly negative opinions about most tea warmers in this regard My candles did not stay lit because of a lack of airflow, the pot in the warmer is too deep for the flame to reach, etc. I decided to take a chance with "The Ol' Dutch" and was very happy with the results. Currently I'm using it with my Yama 5 inch teapot made of glass. My solution worked like a charm by placing a small stand (for burning charcoal for incense/resins) inside for the candle to rest on in order to ensure the flame made contact with the tea pot. (As you can see from my photos) I also opted to put out Stonebriar tea light candles with a 6-hour burn time With a burning time of an hour, I can continue adding water until all of my leaves have steeped out by the end. It is a classic, sturdy (I mean cast iron) item that I keep on my coffee table - I love it - This applies even when the device is There is little doubt in my mind that this will last me the rest of my life, and if not, I won't have to spend a lot to replace it. I know that tea lovers would surely love this gift. It was only after I had one that I realized I needed it.
I could also wear it with my 41-inch waist A cast iron teapot with a capacity of 8 ounces. The item looks like it was cast by hand. There are 6 oval windows along the bottom, which emit a warm glow when lit with tea light candles and don't heat the enamel linings of my tea pots. In addition to ceramics, this warmer is also suitable for metals. It resembles a hobnail - You can use the trivet top as a small, but handy, trivet when you remove the design top. The price has dropped from $28 to $20. A range of 95 to 15 dollars. The book was a great buy at only 99 cents.
The following update has been made As it turned out, the thing I was worried about did happen. During cleaning of the counter top, my wife moved this teapot just a bit, causing the glass teapot to fall off the top and spill the hot tea all over the floor. The fact that there have been no injuries, but the clean up and damage (broken $40 tea pot) is enough to make me recommend this product not to anyone with a glass teapot. I guess that's the way it is. There needs to be something done about the extremely slippery top surface of this product. 'Looks good, works as expected, but the glass tea pot is a little slippery on the top surface, but we are taking extra care as we put it on and take it Having the air intake holes in the bottom allows for enough air to flow in so the candle can burn nicely (some of the old glass ones we had had them on the side which caused the candles not to.
We found this item to be the perfect solution to meet our needs. Using three candles to keep the water just off the boil very hot is probably adequate, though two candles would probably suffice. To steep the tea, I prepare it in the kitchen and use a 20 oz. pot. To hold additional hot water, an additional pot made of cast iron from the same company was purchased. As soon as the first steep has been completed, I reuse the pot with the still incredibly hot water for the My preference would be to use a non-volatile storage medium Because it has bumps on the trivet, it is inappropriate to put a cast iron pot on top of it If you want it to stay in place, it needs to be heavy and rough. My stainless steel fondue pot and bowl warmer (I bought one). To conclude, I gave it a Tea candles with a burning time of 8 hours in small glass holders to prevent wax from spilling into the container (both.
Although it can be a little slippery (my tea pot is glass), it gives off enough heat to keep the tea warm for a long time. Style is always a matter of personal preference, but I think this tea pot is splendid. Its durability and functionality make it an excellent choice. This is a product I would recommend.
Nobody seems to be able to keep water warm, but I don't understand. Despite having just a couple of ounces of water in the teapot and a tealight underneath of it for more than half an hour, my tea was cold when I poured it. Due to the boiling water I used when I started, the remaining little bit of water did not even remain The tealight is even sitting on top of a cap to make it appear higher but it doesn't work. There is a chance I will return.
Despite its amazing appearance, the base for your tea pot is made of metal circles, which are very slippery when used with a glass or porcelain teapot. It would be even better if it were made from metal, Even though I still use it because I love the color and it keeps my tea at the perfect temperature, I wish I didn't have to pay close attention every time I set it down so it doesn't slide off into the abyss.
