There is likely no such thing as an alcohol heater, so I apologize. To make sure the flame is not too hot nor too high, make sure that it is just right. A teapot could be touched if it is not protected & We can't let it go.
Since I do not have the box, and the item does not appear to have any markings, I am unable to determine. There is no large center hole, so the wax won't run into the teapot as other teapot warmers did. It is made of heavy cast iron, and I like the way it doesn't touch the teapot on top directly.
The warmer is all. Keeping a mug of hot drink warm is a great idea. By placing a quarter over the center hole, you can lower the temperature of your beverage if you want to linger at the end of it. Exactly what I was looking for.

As a tea drinker, I am not very enthusiastic, but I would like to get into it more.
