While it doesn't keep the tea as hot as a double wall thermos, it's still a pleasant temperature to drink The temperature was warmer than just warm, though it wasn't quite Because of the reasonable price and its simple, but refined aesthetic, I chose this one. There is not enough oxygen getting to the tea light flame, so it dies. There was no use for the item. It sounds like someone else has experienced this issue, but if not then it's probably a gable and if you decide to purchase this item, you may experience this issue as well.

You can put your teapot in this and it will heat up. In the case that it doesn't work, it could be because the teapot is too wide at the base. My Chacha Kyusu Maru 700ml is used with mine. There is only one con with it, the aluminum plate it comes with looks a little dingy and dirty but at only $10, it's a good value.

I would not use this to warm up just a cup of coffee

The size is a bit large for warming up a cup of chai while drinking a coffee. In using this warmer after using a shorter one before, I noticed that the votives I had been using did not keep my tea as warm as they did previously. As the wick got lower on the candle, it heated my tea less and less, and this is due to cheap shorter burn candles. The warmer is not to blame for this. bought larger and longer burning candles to make the candles last longer.
