After I tried to return it, they simply gave it to me for free, though I wasn't ever sure what I was getting. In my opinion, it should be thrown

It isn't clear how they do it but they keep the candle going all day long. A cup of coffee, hot chocolate, or soup will be kept cold for an extended period of time according to some reports.

The instructions do not state what to do with it. Due to melting, it put a big burn on my table and had to be returned. This product would not be suitable for anything other than a cup of coffee to warm. The burn had not been on for more than 3 hours.
