Keeping the cord stored is convenient since it is retractable. In addition, the cord must be retracted by turning the top, so errant grounds are able to make their way into an open seam in the middle of the grinder. I think the particles I have are much smaller than what a person brewing coffee would be producing. I got this for mixing pigments, so it has a lot finer particles. Nonetheless, I uncovered a serious flaw in the design dust and grinding particles are allowed to enter the body of the grinder and stay there for days. The cord drags out new grounds when it is retracted and out when it is pulled out, and it may become However, I don't think I could get over the impossibility of cleaning the grinder if the more fine bits are stuck inside it. I do appreciate that the lid sits on the outside edge of the grinder, rather than jamming in alongside what you are grinding. I don't think it will work well if you are grinding pigments or super-fine coffee. Unfortunately, I am not able to use it.
I usually purchase those online before going to the store. My coffee does not last long in my house, so I grind it when I buy it at the store. However, this time the machine at the store was broken, so I had to grind it myself. This one was the one I had to order, and I am glad I chose it. My house has one that grinds very fine coffee for some of the people in it and semi-fine for others My opinion is that it is a bit coarse. This grinder does a decent job of making a good coarse grind in a percolator, but it is hard to get a good coarse grind in any smaller grinder. Some over ground beans will sometimes get inside, but you can just shake the coffee shortly to get them out and the whole beans won't hurt either. If you are looking for a simple grinder that you won't be using forever, I would highly recommend it. It took 6 Tbsp of whole beans for me to get it to work.
In addition to the one I have for about 8 years, I bought this one to add a second one to my collection. Flax seeds, chia seeds, and coffee beans can all be ground in the grinder within seconds. All of them work great This is the only other one I have, and it is white and looks like it's been around for a very long time. The plastic cover does get scratched over time from all the grains and such, but the system is still very efficient. The white one is going to be used for herb and seed teas now and the black one will be for coffees only. The morning brew maybe not for you if you don't like oregano. LOLT This model will fit nicely on the counter and is compact, too. never have any trouble with the cable tangling or getting stuck inside, thanks to the way the cord rolls up inside the phone. This is a great travel companion as well. Bags fit nicely inside this pouch. No grinder I've heard is quiet, but this is one of the noisiest I've heard. As a matter of fact Noise is generated by grinding, and, by default, it is loud. There isn't so much a motor in this, but just the whirring of everything as it is chomped to pieces that makes it sound loud.
This is my first bean grinder, purchased to use with my first coffee pot in my first apartment, and think it does its job well. Whether you want coarse grind for coarse beans or fine grind for fine beans, it grinds them as finely as you want. The bowl is made of stainless steel, so it's easy to wipe clean, and the cap goes While the retractable cord is nice, I don't retract it very often since I use it so much. Any person looking for a coffee grinder on a budget should take a look at this one.
As I am writing this review, I will be referring to the first one I purchased rather than the most recent one I purchased. In general, I think this is a really nice little grinder for the price. Two and a half years was the duration of my first one The coffee weather) it was occasionally utilized. To store it, I placed it behind my coffee maker on my counter. This note applies As I don't think retracting the cord for storage is good for it, I never use My coffee maker only needs to have a loose wrap around it. I like to dump the grounds directly into the machine after grinding and unplugging my machine. Since I'm lazy, I turn it upside-down and gently tap before removing the lid, so I can dump the ground coffee directly into the machine. If you are a coffee connoisseur who needs a precise grind, this may not be the best option. However, if you just want to enjoy freshly ground coffee - this might be the best. If you grind your coffee for use in your drip coffee maker, it works.
It's amazing how much I enjoy using this grinder. It never gives me any problems despite the fact that I use it every day. Freshly ground whole beans will completely transform your morning coffee experience, so if you want fresh coffee in the morning you should use freshly ground whole beans. Despite the fact that you can only fill this grinder half way, there are a few things I like about it. A full glass doesn't grind properly if the cup is filled to the top. One complaint was that the lid makes a mess when you remove it from the base because it fits over the top. It is not a problem if you flip the grinder upside down when you are taking off the cap.
Then this is perfect for you if you grind your own flaxseed. I use it only for ground oats in protein shakes, instead of ground oats for baking. In order to reap the nutritional benefits flaxseed provides, you need the power of this grinder, which grinds flax into a powder. A mortar and pestle can also be used, but this will grind the seeds in less than only 10 seconds compared to how long it would take in other ways. There is a problem with cleaning it. That's why I only gave it four stars. I found a method that works from another reviewer to add a small chunk of bread to the grinder and it will pretty much clear.
bought this grinder and after just one use, it took me about 1 minute to clean it. I tried 5 pounds of coffee, but it didn't work. The whole world is In an effort to make sure, I plugged it into another outlet, but it is It's another example of China shipping crappy products that aren't meant to do the job they're supposed to do.
