The Aeropress is the coffee maker I use for every day. After doing some research, I decided that I wanted to pay less than $100 for my purchase. My attention turned to the TIMEMORE Chestnut C2, but I was unimpressed with the plastic parts. As soon as I realized the 1Zpresso JX series was hard to obtain and over my budget, I began searching for an alternative. The Heihox caught my attention because it seemed to have all the same features as the C2, but it was more affordable Stainless steel. I'd like to say that I'm highly impressed with your work. I think this piece is very sturdy. It is extremely solid in the hand. It is claimed to weigh 560g on the box, but when the handle was attached, it weighed 624g (22 oz). A wooden bulb is mounted to the handle of the hopper, and the top cover is attached to the handle. (I had to dab WD40 on the shaft to prevent it from squeaking. ) Made from the same milled aluminum as the main body, but thicker and in a different color tone, the catcher also has a hinge for easy removal. In just a quarter turn, it screws into the main body, and the thread allowances are perfect without any concern about overextending the threads Increasing the tension.


ADJUSTMENTS PERTAIN TO BURR AND GRIND
The user guide states the burrs are made of SUS420 stainless steel, and I tend to believe it. The blades are sharp and will last a long time. There is a metal plate with small dimples that holds the center cone, and there is a locking nut with tiny springs that secures the plate to the cone Bearings mounted on the mounting (see attached pic). I can feel confident about how many clicks I need to make it to my preferred grind because this provides a tactile click when turned. This machine runs incredibly smooth due to its two bearings around the shaft. I was able to reduce my grind time from 2 minutes to about 35 seconds with this thing. Because of the smooth milled catcher, I found it easy to remove the grounds. There are so few parts in this grinder that disassembling and reassembling it can be done even without instructions. (See the attached picture of the grinder disassembled). A VISION TO DISPENSE WITH THE LESS THAN STARRE Your reviews have likely been read by the manufacturer of this product Please note As of this writing, there is no rubber seal that holds the catcher There are threads in the body that screw into it. Please note As the adjustment screw is used, it does not come loose. As a result of the notches in the plate, the spring is able to move I would not think it would be easy for the nut to move while operating because there are ball bearings on the underside of the adjustment screw and the thread on the shaft is notched on both sides. Please note Tension is maintained on the conical burr with a strong spring. far, I haven't experienced inconsistencies that some other reviewers have encountered, and have been able to make sure my grind is just right. I will update this if any of my initial impressions should change, but this is probably the best purchase I have made in quite some.

Such a work of art cannot possibly be sold for less than $100, since it cannot be considered a fair market value. You could easily make twice as much money if not more with this magnificent coffee grinder. I enjoy how it feels in my hands as well as how it grinds up my lovely high. As if hipster beans were butter, end them. The design and function of this item are very similar to the Helor 101 for Using my grinder I grind 60 grams of light or medium beans and I need to fill the hopper two times. Now is the time to stop looking at lame grinders under $100 and get this one. The experience will not leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Since I've been making French press coffee more frequently lately, I was determined to try a manual burr grinder. In my opinion, the burrs on a manual grinder should be metal rather than plastic. In addition to the fine grind, I also wanted it to work well with a coarse grind. The grind with 10, 20, and 30 clicks to the left worked well for French press brewing (see pics for samples). For my 4-quart rice cooker, there is enough room in the hopper for 30 grams of beans Here is a photo of a French Press (see picture). The magnet in the handle mechanism makes it easy to snap the mechanism into place. The only issue I have with the website is the appearance of it. There is a little bit of difficulty to remove the cup which catches the grounds due to the ring. Since it is an off-season sale, I would prefer to see the price lowered a little bit You can find the brand item here.

My review has been updated after I have used the grinder for a couple weeks, and initially liked it, I have changed my opinion of it drastically. Whenever the dial that adjusts the coarseness of the grind (and is also the nut that holds the shaft, spring, and burr all together) is kept anywhere near the coarsest settings, it slips off. Finding the right balance between having it tight enough to prevent it from slipping off during the grind and having it loose enough so that it does not get ground much too fine for me to use in my french press is a constant struggle. When I do manage to get the thing to grind without it falling apart, the consistency of the grind is still not satisfactory. In addition to a lot of fine powder, there are big and small chunks. Just for visual purposes, in the included photos I ground 25g of beans and sifted out the very fine powder using a sieve, just to demonstrate the amount that is produced. We are talking about a lot more than the aluminum body to ceramic burr grinder you can purchase for about $30. Additionally, I noted that there is a little bit of sideways movement in the center shaft A sideways movement is possible There is not as much variance as you would expect, but still enough to cause inconsistencies with

At first I felt that everything was pretty tight, but with a serious issue like the burr falling out mid-grind, I am starting to think that this is something that will get worse as time goes by. The grind is so intense that I cannot recommend it.

We are dealing with a high-quality product here A grinder that grinds end grains of wheat. There are two braces that are part of the top bean catch, which is made from a one-piece metal unibody. As far as I can tell, most of the components of this grinder are similar to the well-reviewed There was an excellent grind quality and it was easy to adjust to the correct coarseness for both espresso and my single cup pour over when using the Hario V60. However, the click mechanism to adjust the grind size was a bit cheap-feeling, and the click was a little hard to hear. As a matter of fact, I had difficulty getting the grinder to stay in the setting I had chosen. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in this grinder since it was a great grinder in the rest of the way. It's possible you'll be luckier in the future!.
