Questions & Answers

Are there any grinding measurements that compare the declicks of the slim mill to the coarseness of the grind?

As far as I know, there is no official grind size guide for coffee. Cafferty levels differ depending on the brewing method and the roast, since light and dark roasts tend to separate In the case of French presses (coarse grind), I have had success with 9-minute grind You can roast a chicken with 13 clicks from the finest setting (9 means light roast 13 means French To pour Melitta drip manually, follow these instructions When I use 5-micron grind (over fine grind), the results are excellent Depending on the bean, it will take up to 8 clicks. 7 Clicks was used to get a medium roasted Ethiopian bean the other day, which I brewed into some of the best coffee I've ever tasted. Here's what I hope will help you.

The coffee can be dispensed directly into an Aeropress. Is that possible?

It seems to me that you would be able to do that. Unscrewing the bottom container would just cause it to fall directly over whatever you chose to let it fall

This mill is nice, but the handle is so hard to remove! There are times when I cannot complete it in less than five minutes. Could you tell me a trick I need to know?

It was the same issue for me as well. Using my finger, I found it much easier to simply lift the handle off the top of the unit by tapping it on the side until it jiggles up and down. I forgot to mention that it is now almost impossible to take the handle off. Since I have to remove the top every time it could take anywhere from 3 - 15 minutes, I am now resigned to never removing it. It will take about ten Moreover, I was also suffering from a bruised hand palm.

What is the time it takes to grind each grain?

Turkish coffee powder can be fine ground to a fine powder if you want The age range is 20 to 25 I spent 40 minutes on the phone. A grinder does not bite into the beans and spins without effect. For general purpose (ground coffee) into Turkish - the grinder does not work. The entire process takes about five To put it another way, it cannot be used for fine grinding.

Before purchasing this product, here are a few things to keep in mind
4/5

Before buying, here are some things you should know 1.
1. There is nothing big about this product. It is There are about 7 inches between the top and bottom of this sculpture. When I opened the box, I was surprised by how small it was. I knew it was small before I bought it, but I could not believe how small it was when I saw it. * * 2. (No translation is provided in English) There are no instructions in English inside the package. You will need to figure out a lot of things for yourself, most notably how to adjust the grind in the grinder (a nut at the bottom can be turned manually to adjust the grind from finer to coarser). 1. 2. 3. You can use it to grind up to 2 cups worth of food. The grinder works very well if you grind your coffee just before drinking (as I do), but it is not ideal if you use it to grind large quantities at a time. As a result- Put the grinder to work. 4 *br /*br There has already been a comment about it taking a long time to grind the beans in the finest grind. Maintain a positive attitude. 3. 4. You'll need to store the handle near the grinder since it's not a complete assembly. You can keep the grinder handle anywhere you need it. 6 - 6. You can't beat the price for a grinder in this price range. Grinding beans at a consistent rate is achieved. Your goal is to find that. There will be some work to do, but it will be worth It is best to make sure you are comfortable with the work before buying the product.

In general, I am happy with the product. Since I started using this grinder 4 months ago, I've used it religiously every morning. I have added an update to the previous post Since writing this review over 2 1/2 years ago, I have added 200 more reviews and I still use this grinder to grind my coffee every morning. It turns out to be my biggest downfall now that this grinder's greatest asset is becoming its biggest asset Having to grind my coffee manually is getting old for me. Despite my best efforts, I can no longer see it breaking The only way I can convince my wife to let me buy a $200 electric grinder with the same quality is to show her its quality in person. 'I hope you found this helpful. In any event, I hope your life is going well.

Grinding and grinding and grinding and grinding it keeps doing
5/5

It makes sense to you. The grinder I own has been working for me since September of 2011, and I am convinced that it is far more reliable than the other reviews and photos suggest. In this grinder I have ground over 4500 tablespoons of coffee (1500+ Please find attached a picture to show that not all the shafts are bad and that it may be partially the fault of the operator. It is not necessary for me to go into why it is so great since other reviewers have already done so. The following instructions will show you how NOT to strip the head off the shaft. 1.
1. When grinding, be sure to hold onto the handle and the grinder barrel firmly. Make sure you do not wobble the handle up and down when grinding. Due to the detachable nature of this component, the shaft/barrel and handle must be aligned at all times. 3.
It's best to move slowly. Normally, you don't have to race to grind a cup of coffee, you're only aiming for a few tablespoons here. 4
You should keep your arms and hands in a Basically, make sure your hands do not go up and down in relation to one another when Using a shallow socket on a bevelled nut is a close analogy. If you wobble, you will strip the bolt head, and that's not enjoyable. So, apply constant firm pressure all the time and you'll get a perfect fitting bolt head. Countless years of perfect reliability will be exhibited by this grinder with meager care and a little bit of knowledge. So you can complain about the design, but with it you will get YEARS of perfectly reliable performance. You should see how many grinds I've gotten from.

This is ideal for the Aeropress I have been working on it for five years plus
5/5

My grinder has been my best friend for almost six years now. It is a perfect companion for In contrast, ceramic burrs produce a very consistent grind with click stops on the adjustment dial that hold the adjustment you make and allow experimentation (counting clicks back and forth) to pinpoint the right grind for your material. My favorite part of the Aeropress is how easy it is to dump ground coffee into it, it is After a period of six years, a couple of use points will be available. * * * I noticed that the grind last year became increasingly erratic and inconsistent. When I finally took it apart and used a small brush to clean the burrs, all was restored to its original accuracy. I initially thought that the grind adjustment had slipped, but when I took it apart completely, all was good again. The method may need to be cleaned annually or at least every couple of years depending on the type of roast you prefer. As a result of more frequent cleaning of older beans, the surface will become black and soiled quicker. Roasts of lighter or medium roast are broken down with a cracking sound, while roasts of darker roast are grinded more smoothly and with less noise while the oils build up quicker. It is, however, really convenient to take apart, and was a snap 2.
It has been suggested that a cordless drill can be used to make a "powered" grinder, but I have had no success with this. I have never been able to find a driver to fit the bolt that the handle fits on (on mine). There's no such thing as an insignificant difference It is marketed as a "fits all" system I gave up on the pin sockets because it was too flimsy for the sockets to grasp. In fact, I enjoy grinding because it seems to match the time it takes my electric kettle to heat the water. The morning exercise is, in my wife's opinion, my morning exercise. She may be right some days. Overall, I found this grinder to be a superb burr grinder for my Aeropress, as well as a perfect fit for my For the price, it's not the most consistent grinder, but it's comparable to nothing I've seen even remotely close.
