I wouldn't do it. You could use a chopper or blender to make a puree by wet grinding. This grinder is ideal for dry grinding of all types.

The spoon was missing when I first opened the package. I thought to myself, "It's not like it's a big deal There are a lot of spoons in my kitchen. The issue, however, is one of capacity - It's about the same size as a regular coffee grinder. There's a peculiar cup-shaped object in the room. within- You must use a cup that holds approximately half a normal pot of coffee beans. Beans, on the other hand, are constantly caught in the no-man's-land. They usually end up on the counter because they fall between the inner and outer cups. I paid twice as much for a lemon as I did for a Hamilton Beach that had just stopped working. It'll end up in the donation bin.
Normally, I purchase my coffee already ground, but a friend swears by freshly ground coffee and has persuaded me to try it. It does have a bolder, fresher flavor, I must admit. This grinder is simple to use and does a good job of grinding anything to dust in a matter of seconds. I like to bake every now and then, and I like to use ground nuts as a topping. I don't grind them to a powder, but just enough to make them bite-size. I am confident that this grider will do the trick. So far, it has been of excellent quality and performs admirably.
Prior to this purchase, I was grinding herbs with my Magic Bullet, which didn't go so well. So I bought this grinder and tried some dried lemon grass and dehydrated banana peel right away. This not only ground my herbs into a powder, but it did so quickly as well! I am extremely pleased with my purchase.
I'm currently going through a review binge of items I've purchased in the last year. So, this coffee grinder is pretty awesome. The difference between this one and another I had was that it grinds at an angle when it grinds. I'm guessing it's for a more uniform blend. It appeals to me, but cleaning it isn't my strong suit. My previous blender had a detachable blend container that could be removed and cleaned thoroughly, but this one does not. The only reason I'm concerned is that I don't just blend coffee; I also blend dry chilies. If it was just coffee, I'd give it a five-star rating, but that's just me. All I'm saying is that it could be easier to keep clean. Thank you so much for the blender! br>br>Edited on September 6, 2021: Okay, Amazon claims that my purchase has been verified, but there's a catch. My review is for a product that I have never purchased for some reason. This was not a Black Decker blender that I had purchased and reviewed. I'm not sure what that means.
We recently bought an espresso machine and need our coffee ground extra fine, so we bought this simple grinder to make a week's worth of ground coffee at once. It's easy to pour out and doesn't make a mess when removing the grounded beans. Because it's an electric appliance, I didn't install a sink or anything like that, so it's simple to clean with a wet towel.
The first one they sent me was defective (it wouldn't even turn on) and had to be returned, so it was docked a star. I received a replacement unit the next day from Amazon. It's a fantastic solution - It takes citric acid from a salty consistency to a powder in seconds, which I use to make bath bombs. The disadvantage is that if you use it for more than 2 minutes, it will overheat. After that, it needs to cool down for about 45 minutes before it can be used again.
It accomplishes the task at hand. However, because the capacity is so limited, I have to grind twice to reach the medium water level in my percolator.
Although the open-box item is cheap, I am not impressed. It doesn't grind as well as the Krups grinders I've used in the past (which tend to break down after a few years). Cleaning is a hassle. We'll see how it holds up over time, but I suppose you can't expect much for the price of a pound of decent coffee beans.
