Questions & Answers

How long is the inside of the box?

Unfortunately, I am unable to answer Jodi's question. Those pans are old I haven't seen them in a while. You can also click here to see the NordicWare Natural Sheet Pan. As stated internally, there are 16 dimensions. The dimensions of the sheet are 5 1/2 x 11 1/4. The rating on the 38" is pretty good, and the price is It is my pleasure to help.

Is there only one or two pans included with this?

There was only one in my delivery. I like it a lot.

What is the difference between this pan and a normal pan?

There's no way they do. However, they are great in every respect. They are the best pans I have ever owned. The majority of my baking is done in the kitchen. I'm glad you liked it, Midge

Can you tell me the gauge of ?

The only time I saw these shoes, Thomas, was when I had sent them to my sister and mom, so I don't have any history on them, and I only saw them once while visiting them. In a "highly-regarded" It is recommended that half-a-dozen be consumed 13 gauge thicker sheet The 8 mm) pans were originally made by Lincoln Foodservice, but according to America's Test Kitchen, Vollrath bought out Lincoln. A style number of 5314 appears on the label, and it is inscribed "Wear-" Then and Now". As a result, the Norpro gauge is a little lighter ATK specifies 0 mm), which is also recommended by ATK, specifically Cook's Country. It looked like Norpro's pans were decent, but if you want a pan that's a bit heavier gauge like they use on TV, pick There is no doubt that it is 13 gauge, as I looked it up. Please be assured that this pan is slightly heavier in gauge. I hope this is helpful. When you put it together with the CIA SS cooling rack available at Amazon, you will be pleased

I was surprised by how heavy it was
4/5

A pan what can you tell me about it? Whether it's good or not depends on your perspective. There is nothing I don't like about this pan and it is heavier and more solid than I expected. I have no doubt will make a good skillet. Among the uses for my cooling rack are dehydrating food and rubbing meat (small things that fit, I will talk about size later) etc. And that rack is designed to fit half sheet pans It will be a product you appreciate, and if you do not like it, you won't buy it. You can't peel it off the nice, smooth surface of the alum because it is gooey and sticky. The label is torn by the pan. What's the reason? What a strange thing to do - like nailing a piece of paper to a tack board with a nail gun. I've put the pan in the freezer, hoping that the glue strip will harden enough to come off more easily. In addition, the adhesive is like a narrow tape about 3" x 3/8" but is solid. As for the size, this may be the standard, but here is In the description and on the label, 18x12 is stated. However, there is no measurement of a 12" in either place. Overall, it measures 13 x 18 but 10 x 9 inches in height. The size of this picture is 5 There is a hole in the bottom of the pan measuring 5" in diameter. My dream would be to find a larger pan that will accommodate ribs, brisket, etc. that will go 18" - 22" easily, but it looks like I'll have to get a whole It would get five stars if the adhesive was done properly, but I have to join the mob. It is impossible to use something these days like that that isn't easily peelable after the adhesive has dried. It might be OK if it were on the bottom, but it isn't, and it hasn't sunk to the bottom. Edit

OK, the freezer proved no help whatsoever. It only made the adhesive even tougher and very difficult to handle. In the end, enough hot water running over it to warm the pan softened the thin strip by almost allowing it to be peeled The glue and two pieces of tape were the only items left. It has been cleaned off with Goo Gone and a paper towel after 3 rounds. The situation is now under control.

Another interesting feature of this wheel is that it has heavy gauge wire in the rim, which not all wheel manufacturers advertise. There is a lot of weight in the pan, so it feels I just tossed it under a high broiler to get it nice and hot since that rolled edge can hold water and the wire might rust. I washed it and threw it into the oven under a high broiler to bring it up to temperature. As well as to remove any trapped manufacturing residues that may be in there, I did this to get the water dried out. I did not smell any funky smoke, nor did it smell like burning. The pan just lay there getting That's probably what they're supposed to do, unlike the other pans I've had that would begin doing back flips as soon as they buckled. It's a great pan, not one that requires a strip of monkey snot to hold the label in place. Update 10/28/11 I just purchased another pan from Norpro and I wanted to comment on the glue issue that afflicts many of the reviews on the internet. One of these came with a different type of The glue is applied to the paper without gluing the paper is coated first, then the pan is adhered to it. It is still a bit of work to peel, but I tried my method of putting it in the freezer and pealing it when I didn't get the desired results. As soon as I got the paper off the pan, I used GooGone and it came off in no time. The paper used to leave scuff marks on my fingers when I tried to remove it, but nothing that would prevent me from It seems they have done a good job for me. Again, I dried it under a convection broil. It got really hot under there, because I left it too long at one point. It has no bending, no buckleling, no discoloration, just heat. As it cooled, it hardened. I'm glad I have two of these great pans! The only reason I had to buy another brand was because Amazon didn't have their full sheet pans. We'll see how they compare.

I am pleased with how things are going so far
5/5

A great pan, thanks for sharing However, I don't seem to be experiencing the denting issue described by others. It is possible that I have been fortunate on that front, but I am aware of the fact that heavy gauge aluminum bought two more after my initial order because I liked them so much. These have been used to bake, roast, and roast veggies. There is a lot of stuff going on. All in all, they were brilliant across the board. Add on top of that the fact that they are/were part of the Amazon 4/3 sale, and it makes them even more valuable.

It's not too bad
3/5

My silpat keeps me from worrying, but I don't like finding rust puddles, especially since I always use one. The purpose of these is functional, so I probably wouldn't have gotten them if I had known, but all in all, it fulfills my needs. As well, because the box didn't get wrapped up properly prior to shipping, the item got pretty dinged, so I was not happy. I also use a silpat, so the dents don't affect me too much, but it would be nice to receive a better package.

You can't go wrong with these
5/5

The bake easy cookie sheets or darker cookie sheets have never worked well for me. The only aluminum sheets with a light color I could find until now were dark gray. Baking has been wonderful for me and I am now seeing great results. Also, they are very good at cleaning up. It is with great pleasure that I write you. It's the midge.

It's good to have good pans, but stainless steel is probably I like these pans, but they are easily scratched
3/5

As well as reading that stainless steel is healthier than aluminum for baking, I know it has many health benefits. I bake a lot, so I think I will spend the extra money and buy better quality pans.

It is at your own risk to make a purchase
3/5

Would it be okay if I gave it less than five There were divets on the bent item. The dishwashing machine will not work with it. The aluminum feels light as air. A commercial grade product is only suitable for use if you do not plan to cook.

This product is excellent
5/5

I highly recommend it. As a result of the previous baking pan buckling in the oven, my meal was somewhat damaged. With this product, it never occurred to you to worry about this. It's lightweight and easy to clean as well. Those items are no longer of any use to me.
