Greetings, Lori Ann.br>Thank you for contacting us. I believe you could use the pan to make a stepping stone because it is made of aluminum.
After you've finished frosting the entire cake, you can add whatever you want back in. It should be fine if you just make a rough outline.
This pan has a capacity of 2. 06 x 11. 6 x 12. It's 44 inches long and uses about one cake mix, so it's a regular-sized dinosaur-shaped cake!
No, the shape will not be altered. The height of this cake is quite impressive! The second time around, we had it filled, and it was fantastic!

year- Dino's birthday is coming up, and it's going to be a big one! I'm not much of a baker, and my cake decorating skills are limited to "cover everything in frosting," but I thought I'd give this pan a shot for my 3-year-old's birthday cake. year- birthday of a young person Dinosaurs are currently his obsession. He was ecstatic when the cake pan arrived in the mail and demanded that I make it immediately. I was worried it wouldn't turn out right, so I carefully read the instructions that came with the pan and watched a few videos first (Wilton has some excellent instructions); For pointers, I'd suggest watching their YouTube videos. I made the cake with Wilton's butter cake recipe and a double batch of Wilton's standard vanilla buttercream icing recipe, and I purchased the following decorations based on the pan's instructions: frosting tips (3, 5, and 18), icing bags, and Wilton's icing dyes in a variety of colors Furthermore, it is critical to note: I sprayed the entire pan with their "Bake Easy" spray before pouring in the batter, based on advice from other bakers. It took much longer to cook than the recipe suggested, but I wanted to make sure the cake wasn't raw in the middle. I let it cool overnight on a rack before attempting to remove it from the pan using the instructions in their online videos - It was absolutely perfect. To decorate the pan, I followed the instructions on it. I'm not going to lie, the decoration took a long time, and making all those tiny green frosting stars hurt, but it turned out beautifully, and my son was completely enthralled by his dino cake. " in regards to the outcome. I'm very pleased with the outcome.
Following the instructions, we were able to decorate it to look very similar to the photo. I'd never done icing before, so it was a bit of a challenge for a newbie like me, but it turned out pretty well, and the kid was thrilled. br>br>We used Pillsbury creamy supreme buttercream frosting cans and food coloring to make this cake. The Wilton tips were the ones we got, and I'd recommend getting multiples of three. Bags - We went with Michael's because they were less expensive.
Recently, she's been obsessed with dinosaurs. I made a few mistakes, but I think it turned out well. The numbers for the tips were correct, but the one for yellow appeared to be incorrect. I should have just used the 3 instead of the 5 as the instructions stated. Unless there's a reason why my set is different. Apart from that, it's fantastic!.
This was purchased so that I could make a dinosaur birthday cake for my daughter without having to be a professional baker. The pan isn't as flimsy as it appears in the picture, and it's not made of aluminum. The cake comes out of the pan easily and in one piece if you follow the instructions for coating every nook and cranny of the pan. I made the mistake of trying to reposition it on the cooling rack and ended up beheading my dino, which I was able to save later with frosting, but everything else turned out great and my daughter loved it!.
It gave me the opportunity to decorate my very first cake! br>br>Because our family was quarantined, we decided to bake and decorate a cake ourselves, even though we weren't expecting any visitors. What's the harm in that? It was the ideal opportunity to try something new without fear of looking foolish. br>br>If you look closely, you'll notice that I messed up a little because it was my first time, but I'm still amazed at how beautiful the cake turned out, especially considering I don't have an artistic bone in my body. br>br>My kids were overjoyed as well, and it didn't break the bank! So it's a win-win situation for the most part. win. br>br>I'm looking forward to the next opportunity to practice my decorating skills once more. Thank you, Wilton. br>br>I appreciate it. P. br>br>P. br>br>P. br>br>P. Because I used homemade cream cheese frosting to decorate the cake, the details aren't as crisp as they would be with buttercream, but it's doable. br>br>The cake was a box mix called Funfetti.
My son receives dinosaur-themed items because I am a dinosaur fan. It's a small pan with a small footprint. I don't think it'll break easily, but it's not as heavy as some of my other cake pans. I greased the pan thoroughly with butter, getting into every crevice. It didn't take long to get the batter in and even more time to get it even. However, when I took it out, I noticed that the definition was missing. I had a hard time finding the teeth, side fins, fingernails, and other details, and as a result, I ended up free-styling the frosting. br>br>Due to the nooks and crannies, cleaning it is a pain. br>br>Overall, I'm not dissatisfied because I love dinosaurs.
I followed the Wilton tutorial on youtube and found it to be very simple to use. It was suggested that cake release spray be used. It worked flawlessly! There were no issues at all, and it was a simple process. Very thorough. The only drawback was that when I first washed it, it had an odd odor that went away after I used soap. After cooking two cakes in the pan and gently rubbing off excess cake with a rag and dish soap, the photo of the pan was taken. Clean-up is simple. I sprayed the pan with cooking spray, used one box of cake mix, and baked for the time specified in the recipe. Overall, I'm very pleased with my Wilton dinosaur cake pan!.
I'm not a baker by any stretch of the imagination. I purchased this to make for my husband's birthday, which fell during the Rona outages. Simply follow the instructions; however, trust me when I say that if you don't know how to pipe frosting onto a cake, it will look like it was frosted by a 4-year-old. That being said, the love and effort made a significant difference.
