Yes, they can be stacked in the same way as any other cake.
I haven't done anything yet. That's something I'd try if I had a good reason. To make the cookie thicker, make it a little thicker. There are round cookie cakes available, so I'm sure you could make letters or numbers out of them as well.
Simply follow the instructions as you would when using a regular metal cake pan. I've used it once or twice, but I don't make airplane cakes very often.

There are an infinite number of possibilities. I first used it to make the letter "M" for a birthday cake at work (shown). Two layers were my goal. This is what happened when I followed the instructions to the letter. I calculated that the amount of batter you'll need depends on the size of the letter or number you're baking. The first time I made it, I used one box mix, divided my batter in half, and greased and floured my pan. It came out very thin, about an inch thick, and because I was making chocolate cake, I didn't grease or flour the pan because the white flour left traces on the cake. Baking spray will suffice, and if you're using a box mix, I'd recommend using one box per layer. Also, to ensure that the batter rises evenly, make sure it is spread all the way to the pan's corners. This pan has been a lot of fun for me to use, and my friends are always asking to borrow it.
The only flaw with this set is that, for some reason, Wilton decided not to include instructions with it. To receive it, I had to tweet it to them on Twitter. So, as part of this review, I'll include images of the PDF instructions they gave me. The pan set is extremely easy to use and clean.
This cake pan is perfect for me! I needed a pan for my daughter's 4th birthday, but I didn't want to buy a "4" mold because it would only be used once. I ordered this pan and it was exactly what I needed; I'm looking forward to using it in the future, and my family has already asked to borrow it for their own baking projects. br>br>I took other reviewers' advice and sprayed and then floured the pan before using it to keep it from sticking. Make certain to spray. You should also flour the inserts you're using. There were no problems at all for me! The only mistake I made was not baking the cake in a backwards "4" shape so that I could easily flip the pan over after it baked and decorate the flat side; as a result, getting the 4 out without tearing was a little difficult, but nothing that a little icing couldn't fix. br>br>I used one box of store-bought cake mix, which was just right. There was very little batter around the inserts, and any that remained after baking was easily trimmed away. br>br>For bakers, this is an essential cake pan. I'd give it to someone I knew who enjoyed baking but didn't have one. It's something I wish I'd known about sooner.

When I baked the cake and used the cutters, I was pleasantly surprised. I had expected it to be difficult to use or that it would not look like the pictures. Everything was just right!.
This was extremely helpful when it came to making letter and number cakes. It's also less expensive than buying it at Joann's or Michael's! Save the instructions that come with it because they will tell you which inserts to use to get the number or letter you want. I've only used it a few times but haven't had any issues. If you're making a double-layer cake, make sure to use a cake lifter to make it easier to transfer to a cake board.
Normally, I would use a lighter color. However, for me, this is one of the most crucial baking pans. Imagine if we could use this pan to make letters and numbers? Wow! It's simple to use; all you have to do is balance the shapes you place around them. When you shake or tap it, the batter settles in the empty space, making it difficult to balance. (As a result, there is a minus. ) 5 star). It is, however, removable, as you can see in the attached photo. It's not a major issue. (I was in a hurry to get the cake to the celebrant, so I didn't get a picture of the finished product. ) So this is just to show you that you can use the back side of it as well. Number three is ideal for my son's birthday party, which is themed around construction. It was extremely simple to operate and maintain. I got a lot of positive feedback, and best of all, I can reuse it for future cakes and parties.
