Yes, the flaking on my 9x13 is getting worse. It's been about 5 years since I purchased my set. Like a grenade going off in the oven, the cookie sheet warps. The toffee coating is delicious, but the flaking is a turnoff.
They have a nonstick surface and are visually appealing. Many of the items are in my collection. try one. There will be more for you. steve
As far as I'm aware, there aren't any. I didn't adjust the temperature for the chocolate cakes I baked in this pan, but I did take them out 5 - 10 minutes earlier. Because of the convection baking, the pan is 10 minutes early, rather than the pan itself. As with most bakeware, you'll need to figure out how it interacts with your oven.

I needed two loaves, so I dashed out to the store and purchased an identical pan from a different brand. br>br>The Cal pan shone like a star, baking through perfectly. No burning, it is 100% non stick, and I did not grease it ahead of use. I wish I had the financial means to upgrade all of my bakeware to Calphalon. As a seasoned baker, this has always been my go-to recipe.
So far, I've only used one Calphalon pan. I don't understand why this pan doesn't stay flat in the oven. Maybe it's because it can't withstand the advertised high heat of 500 degrees. At room temperature, this pan is only flat. In this pan, I placed my meatloaf. At 450 degrees, I placed it in my air fryer oven. It BUCKLED after only 5 minutes in the oven! When the pan buckled up in the back left corner, the internal temperature of my meat was only 74 degrees, as shown in the photo. This demonstrates that the pan was not even in the oven for a long time when the mess occurred! How are we supposed to bake in a pan that doesn't stay flat in the oven while our food cooks? I'm not sure if I made a mistake or if this pan is simply of poor quality, but I'd like to return it right away!.
It really works. It's not difficult to clean. The first thing I made was a fat-free brownie recipe, which turned out beautifully. If this thing were to bend in the heat, it would have to be over 500 degrees F and too close to the heat source, but it was easy to remove from the pan and cleaning was as simple as a quick wipe. I actually dropped it and it didn't even get a scratch. A lot of things get dropped by me. My ex-husband used to be my best friend when I was married. My wife would never allow me to enter a store that sold glass or ceramics.
The stickers on the side and bottom of the box are the subject of this review. These pans came in twos. It shouldn't take 20 minutes for someone to remove the stickers with sticker removal solvent and a scraper. I haven't tried the pans yet, but they should melt in the oven based on the stickers. This is the first time I've ever seen anything like it. It was as if it had been smeared with superglue. Calphalon, you've done yourself a disservice.
It's been less than a year since you've used it. In January of 2020, I purchased two loaf pans specifically for making sourdough breads. They should not be put in the dishwasher! The rusted rolled rim holds water and rusted the first time it was used. Despite being sprayed with Pam, they stopped releasing breads after a few runs through the dishwasher. Despite the fact that these aren't sticky breads, they weren't available for purchase. br>Unfortunately, they are much more expensive than other bread pans, and they are now rusting garage pans. I will not purchase this brand again because their coating is so poor that it cannot withstand the conditions they claim to be able to withstand.
I've used it twice now, and both times my banana bread has turned out well. br>When I first used it, I coated one pan in butter and left the other uncoated. br>Both loaves were simple to make. br>As a result, the second time I used it, I didn't butter the pan because I didn't think it was necessary. br>And yes, both breads were easily removed from the pan. br>br>I would strongly advise!.
This is what I use when I bake. Brownies and cornbread are the mainstays of my diet. A small cake may be served on occasion. This pan is a bit heavier than most, but it evenly distributes heat. Thinner pans produce baked goods that are overdone on the edges but underdone in the center. I recommend spending a few dollars more on a product like this one because it is cooked in the middle. It's easy to clean in the dishwasher and lasts a long time; however, if you're going to cut something while it's still in the pan, I recommend using a plastic knife. This will keep the pan from scratching and preserve the finish, preventing things from sticking over time.
Pan performs all of the functions of a loaf pan, including: The bread bakes evenly and comes out easily. I gave it four instead of five stars because one thing I don't like about it is how difficult it is to pick up the pan when it's hot - There are no flattened areas on the edges for fingers to rest on.
