Questions & Answers

What is the approximate size of the cake made by the number 2?

Because I wasn't sure, I used one cake mix in the tin. Because it overflowed a little, you might not need the entire cake mix. I had a 7 and a 0 on my report card.

In Fahrenheit, what temperature should I set the oven to?

In the same way as with metal pans, you use whatever temperature the recipe specifies. They should be safe up to 500 degrees, according to me.

Hello, I'm really interested in this item, but I need it by the 8th of this month. and it says until the 14th in the estimated delivery. Is it possible for me to obtain it?

I'd just google 50 cake pans because I made my first one without them and it was very simple to make a template out of cardboard.

What is the approximate number of servings?

I'm not sure if it will, but I believe it will. To ensure that the servings on the box are accurate, you will use one box cake mix.

This is an outstanding pan
5/5

Some pointers that may be useful. I decided to write a detailed review of this product because it is a fantastic pan, but some pointers would have been helpful for someone like me who doesn't bake often. I looked through all of the reviews for advice on baking times, batter amounts, and other issues, but there were few definitive answers. I'm hoping that my review will be useful to a few others who have similar concerns. To begin, I'd like to state that this is an excellent silicone mold. It's the ideal size for serving a small group. This was bought for my son's Spider-Man-themed birthday party. I went with a manly theme for the party and stole the cake idea from others I found on the internet. 1) br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b Is it necessary for me to spray the pan? Without a doubt. I'm not sure what kind of results you'd get if you didn't, but save yourself the trouble and coat the inside with baking spray; the cake will come out much easier that way; just go slowly. It's important to note that the following To help stabilize the silicone and make it easier to put in and take out of the oven, place it on a metal baking sheet. 2) br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b What is the right amount of cake mix to use? That could be largely dependent on the number you have; I only used 5, but I imagine a 2 or 3 would be similar. Cake batter recipes are included with the mold, but I went with the boxed variety. I used one box of mix and followed the directions on the package for baking. I followed the instructions for a "nonstick pan," which calls for a lower temperature (I believe it was 325 degrees instead of 350 degrees). In retrospect, I would use 1 1/4 or 1 1/3 boxes of mix in the future, for the following reasons: The tops of cakes don't always bake perfectly flat. I ended up with a cake that was higher in the middle (above the mold) than it was at the ends (below the mold). It turned out to be a fairly simple fix. After the cake had cooled in the pan, I carefully ran my longest, sharpest knife across the top of the mold, taking care not to cut the mold. I ended up with a perfectly flat top, but the ends were still not as high, which is why I'd use a little more batter next time. The cake cut very easily with a good knife, which isn't a big deal because you're going to flip it anyway. I filled in the gaps at the bottom with extra icing. (Here's a tip for flipping a coin: While the cake is still in the mold, place the cake base or pan directly on top of it, holding it together tightly and flipping it). 2) br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b What is the expected number of people it will feed? That depends a lot on the size of the slices you cut, but the five easily yielded ten good slices. If you need to serve more people, you could make a layer cake out of these and cut thinner slices). 3) br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br How do you get edging icing into such small crevices? I needed to think outside the box here, and leaving the inside blank was not an option. So I took a small sheet of wax paper and traced edging lines to match the areas where my piping bag couldn't reach. I put the sheet with the edges in the freezer for about 10 minutes, then cut sections to size and used a needle and thread to sew them together. To spear the pieces and carefully place them inside the crevices, use a spear-shaped baking tool. br>br>I hope those suggestions are useful to others. I couldn't find even ONE cake base in this size; the 12" would have been too small, and every store was out of the 14". Perhaps if you asked a bakery, they would just give you one, but I ended up putting my cake directly on a carrier and serving it that way (I purchased it at Michaels).

Use one cake box to serve two people
5/5

The amount of cake batter I used was determined by trial and error. I used 1 in my first attempt. It overflowed a little (puffed up), making it difficult to stack another one on top and make a 2-tier cake. cake with multiple levels I used one box of cake the second time, and it turned out perfectly; I had the number "2," and I followed the instructions on the cake batter box. The cake pan's instructions show how much to use if you're making your own cake batter, as well as oven temperatures in Celsius. So, if you're like me, stick to boxed cakes and follow the oven temperature instructions on the box.

The quality of the good ones is excellent
5/5

When I first bought these (I bought the entire set 0-1), I was a little hesitant. 8) I received a few bad numbers (3 total, if my memory serves me correctly). They were flimsy because one side was thick and the other was paper thin. I contacted the seller to inform them, but I didn't feel they were being very helpful, and their response made me feel as if they didn't believe me. They basically stated that they had been selling for years and had never experienced such a problem. They wanted pictures, but Amazon wouldn't let me attach them to the messages I was sending through the platform. So I emailed them directly from my email, and they kept saying they hadn't received anything, despite the fact that I had sent them multiple times. When I finally asked for a phone number or email address for someone who could assist me, they said they were attempting to do so, but I had the impression they weren't. Finally, they admitted that they had received the email with the photos attached and expressed regret. Finally, they stated that replacements would be sent out and that they would personally inspect them to ensure that they were in good working order. I received the replacements quickly and they were all excellent. They later emailed me to thank me for bringing this up, saying that he had checked his stock and discovered others with the same issue. I only wish they hadn't made things so difficult for me: I adore these molds, and the ones I have are of excellent quality! I would recommend these; however, I would keep an eye out for them and contact them if I received a defective one. br>br>I took a picture of the good ones (on the left) and the bad ones (on the right). The quality of the good ones is excellent. It is definitely worthwhile to purchase.

It was disappointing
3/5

This item comes with a limited number of instructions. I read a lot of reviews and found a lot of information on the internet about how to use it, but after three attempts, it still didn't make a fully cooked cake. The outside edges had dried out, but the inside still jiggled. I was so disappointed!.

This was a perfect solution

I couldn't think of a way to make a Corvette cake, so I made the 44 and threw in some Corvettes. Everything went off without a hitch. Always spray the insides of these molds to make them easier to remove!.

I'm going to buy a lot more! This was an incredible mold
5/5

I used a box cake and baked it according to the box's instructions for a 9" pan. One box was just enough to fill the pan, and the result was perfect! I sprayed the inside with cooking spray and baked it on a cookie sheet (to keep it from falling apart as it entered and exited the oven). I set it aside to cool for a few minutes before transferring it to a cooling rack to cool completely. It was easy to remove from the pan. br>br>Because the pan was a little smaller than I had anticipated, I baked two cakes and stacked them together. It fed 13 people with good slices and there were still a few leftovers. I'll buy more for future birthdays without a doubt! br>br>If you plan on using the recipes that come with the pan, keep in mind that the temperatures are in Celsius.

This product is not suitable for use in the kitchen or in the oven
3/5

When pinching this item, the silicone turns white, indicating that it fails the pinch test. It indicates that the material has been mixed with plastic rather 100% than 100% silicone. As a result, it is not food-grade and should not be used in the oven because the plastic may contaminate the food. For a comparison between pinching this item and a real 100% silicone cake mold, see the attached photos in the attached photos in the attached photos in the attached photos in.
