It is true that they are a bit sheer, but I did purchase them for privacy reasons. Despite the curtains being very beautiful, I am very happy with their privacy and quality. I really can't think of anything bad to say about it. If you want more privacy, you can always get another light curtain. But I think it's fine just the way it is.
At night it is semitransparent, but it is slightly filtered by the sun. Nighttime when the atmosphere is dark and hazy, it makes it hard to see clearly.

My five-star rating was lowered due to the fact that I ordered three sets of panels, but one pair was about an inch shorter than It wouldn't have been noticeable if you were hanging them long and letting them puddle, but I wasn't and the uneven bottoms made for an odd look.
