This is not blackout drapery. I don't know how they have gotten away with calling these curtains blackout. There is no way to block out light with these curtains. On the first photo I have shown the window with the light on in the room and on the second photo I have shown the window with the light.
I really like the color of that burgundy sweater. There is no way to see the sun through it. I took the picture with one of the panels closed so you could see how There may be a reason for why the photo appears to be The item is great and I will order it again if I need.
The first thing you noticed upon entering the room is that they definitely darken it (at least the dark gray). Despite having multiple layers of fabric, they do not provide much thermal insulation compared to curtains with Here are some of the illustrations on this product (and, to be fair, a few of the other ones as well) The curtains (called "insulating curtains") are three layers thick. One is all there is. They use the term "triple weave" to describe how thick it is (which I guess is what they mean). We have other curtains which block the heat of direct sunlight well, but the layer of this curtain is not sufficient to adequately block the heat.
Despite the blinds being closed, light can still enter the room through the drapes, regardless of how closed the blinds are. You may not be able to use them effectively, but just remember that at least the grey ones won't be true blackout curtains.
I am using these in my guest room and my bedroom. The summer months are the perfect time to keep them in, as they keep the sun out. I only have one complaint the rings are plastic and not metal. However, this is not a huge deal breaker considering the price. I gave the book 4 stars instead of 5 because of that.
The curtains are great for the price. They are blackout curtains, which are quite good. I am completely in the dark in my room.
The rooms in our house have to be completely dark before my husband goes to sleep since he is extremely sensitive to any light. As a result, our vertical blinds did not work and we had to wait until the morning to raise the curtain. After installing the blackout curtains, he enjoyed the sun streaming in during the day, while still keeping direct sunlight out at night. Will get a sheer one to put under these, so he can still enjoy daylight if he chooses to do so. The curtains are great, I would recommend them to anyone in need of a blackout curtain.
There are not many efficient windows in my bedroom, so I get morning sunlight. It is crucial that I have a white curtain that goes with my room while being room darkening (they Light Grey, or greyish white white, is just what it is called. Next to the grey walls and curtain are the grey walls and the grey printer paper. As you can see in the second picture, there are no curtains open and daylight pours It is not possible to do a color, so I must return it.
